hesitating for half a second, lips twist in thought. a lot of the time they spent hanging out with nanako mostly consisted of playing games she was partial to, and yosuke hadn’t minded that at all. he’s always been the event planner, making sure everyone was included, and that things were in order. this is much like that. but yu had always been more creative than he was when it came to spending time with the young girl.

“ you know numbers, right? do you like card games? there’s one called ‘crazy eights’ and it’s super fun and easy to play! “ he would have to simplify the rules a bit, but nanako was quite smart, so yosuke didn’t doubt for a second that she’d pick up on it fast.

the only problem? he didn’t have a pack of cards on him, of course. this whole idea being on the fly.

“ does your dad have cards? we could always go to junes and buy some. does your dad care if i take you out for a bit? “ he didn’t want to disobey dojima, so he’d have to make sure.

         "Oh! I know plenty of numbers! And I'm really good at card games too!" It was one of the few things that Nanako did to bond with her dad.

          And while Nanako would LOVE a trip to Junes. . .she knows its important to save money when they can. And she has a deck of cards! Her dad has one they play with. So running off for a quick moment, she makes her way to her dad's room before grabbing the cards. She knows where he keeps them since she is tasked to get them. Running right back to Yosuke, she holds out the deck to him.

         "We play War, Crazy Eights, Go Fish and uhm. . .Poker! I know how to play that one too!"

          The bright, excited smile on the face of the child as she thinks about playing games is far too big to hide. She loved card games. The little numbers and pretty pictures and shapes they had on them. Plus! It helps her with her counting. How can anyone be mad she's using this as a chance to learn as well?

" yeah! " he exclaims, the excitement in the girl's voice contagious. he smiles, unable to stop himself with how happy nanako seemed just by such a simple thing. " your big bro told me to make sure you were taken care of when he left. " he would do everything he could to keep that promise.

         "Great! I don't have piano today, so it's perfect to play. Uhm. . ." What did older kids like to play? Nanako knew that Yu enjoyed a lot of the games she did, but she also knows that everyone is different too. Did Yosuke like the same games too? There's a bit of a pause as the child looks to him, a small cant of her head to the side.

         "What do you want to play? What kind of games do you like?"

ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ although the sound that comes out of Mewtwo doesn't sound at all as a purr should, the pleasant vibrations it produces throughout him and into her feel the same. he nuzzles the child in return.

What a funny noise! Its clearly an affectionate one, so as she's nuzzled, Amber returns the nuzzles, mimicking the noises. A rather poor mimcry, but one filled with the same affections he's conveying to her.

🔮 It was always a mixed bag of emotions pushing itself into mind, whenever Nanako now-called-Amber did this. Nevertheless, she did not wish for the girl to worry so Psyche complied and reciprocated hug.

- The child really was too sweet for her own good, sometimes.

Amber is always grateful for the hugs she gets! Hugging right on to her Aunite, it's impossible to not feel the joy radiating from the child.

As long as everyone is okay, she's okay. And she knows her Auntie and Myuutsu both need more hugs than most!
