Learn to articulate how you're feeling without accusing anyone of having bad intentions. You can say "I'm afraid of being alone" without saying "you're just going to leave me like everyone else." You can say "I need some reassurance" without saying "you probably don't love me anymore." You can say "I'm afraid I've hurt your feelings and I'd like to talk it through" without saying "you don't even like me anymore." You can say "I want to spend more time with you" without saying "you've gotten tired of me." You can say "I feel misunderstood" without saying "you always judge me." Try not to let your emotions get the best of you. Have a conversation focused on finding solutions instead of escalating the conflict.

Overdrive has a new mobile app called LIBBY I find it easier to use.  It’s the same content as Overdrive just better for mobile.  Overdrive and Libby both let you send items to your kindle as well.  

Can confirm Overdrive is amazing. 

I work in the largest library system in my state (17 branches in total).

I use it not only for ebooks, but movies as well.

I live on overdrive. I finally am getting to read and listen to books I’ve had on my list forever

Libby is wonderful, I used it to listen to A TON of free audiobooks by my favorite author. But once I got through those I found out my library also offers free books through RB Digital which had more audiobooks that aren’t on Libby. I’m hooked.

RB Digital’s library has moved to Libby since OverDrive acquired it, so Libby is my go-to for FREE e-books & audiobooks. The best part is that you can have more than one library on file, so if an e/audiobook isn’t available for checkout at one library they may have it at another. I just had to return an audiobook I hadn’t completed yet that I checked out from my county library, it’s a 4 week wait to check it out again because of the holds ahead of me… then I remembered I still have a city library account and luckily the audiobook was available there, so I just checked it out from that library to finish listening to it.

Many relationships would be a lot healthier if we romanticized honest, open and direct communication instead of idealizing the idea of a partner who's intuitively in tune with your every need. You don't need someone who can read your mind, you just need someone who's willing to listen when you speak.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: public libraries are the only place where people are allowed to just exist in public anymore without spending money. Thank goodness they already exist and have for so long because they would be denounced as socialism if we tried to implement them now.

This is UK, but the only parts of this that don’t apply to the US are things that ought to.
