The humane society where Garrison adopted his cats received so many donations in his name after his passing (25k and the number is still growing) that they put up this plaque and had a dedication ceremony 🥲 so, I'm crying again.
Also, Janelle confirmed that the cats are living with his siblings I know some ppl were wondering.

as some of you may know, last week garrison brown lost his battle with depression. he loved his family, friends, and cats fiercely. he had a passion for the stars and for serving his country. by the age of 25, he had purchased his own home and used it to offer housing to his younger siblings and for it to be a place for the whole family to gather.
he worked in construction and used those skills to build flower beds for both janelle and truely to enjoy. he was also a gifted photographer and created some truly incredible photos of the sky.
in his final days, he adopted his third cat from the local humane society in flagstaff. janelle has said that all of the cats have gone to garrison’s siblings. in the past week, r/tlcsisterwives have raised nearly $10,000 for various animal rescues in flagstaff and in their local communities.
garrison was a bright light in everyone’s lives, and even those of us that only knew him through the screen could see how big his heart was. depression is a terrible disease, and if you’re struggling, please know that you’re not alone. you will be missed. you are loved.

the Jordan and McKay video is going to take me a while to go through and make notes on bc it's 2+ hours long and i have to do other things today sadly lol but I just gotta share this direct quote from Dav that I think is really indicative of where he's at:
"it's at this point where it's like, I hope this isn't true. Because I don't want to go through life always having to think I'm the worst in order to find the life in Christ. And that whole thing (where) it just sort of requires you to feel really bad or at least admit that you're just sort of a nothing, you have nothing. After that he talks about how whenever he came to the church about his struggles, his problems were blamed on him not working enough on his faith and relationship with God and how that has a serious effect on how he viewed himself as a person and it is wild to feel like i relate so much to Dāv fkin Beal. I'm also really surprised that he seems to be deconstructing Christianity as a whole as opposed to Bethany's flavor of fundamentalism.

No as far as I know, Gwen saying she was busy was as much as we got about that. And I agree, they got married quickly but they were planning for at least a few months so it's a little weird she wasn't there. Gwen's a student whose only work at the time was Patreon that I know of, so a few months feels like enough time to plan to be gone for a weekend.
Idk maybe she really did have something really important that day, or maybe she was feeling some type of way about her mom getting married so quickly, hopefully we find out eventually lol. Every other sibling seems to agree that David's a good guy and they are happy for them so it feels a little strange.
tbh i think it was a shitty combo of super hard class, seeing paedon there, some hard feelings about her mom that seem to have come up that summer, the dislike of tlc after her engagement party, and her existing autism that caused all of that to feel even more insurmountable than it would individually. i think it all added up and she noped out. i can’t give her shit for it because there’s every chance that she also felt shit about it once she got some time and space from it all.

Jill has been severely passive aggressive about her seemingly dislike for Heidi. She wasn’t present at the engagement, if that was her choice or not we don’t know but, then early this month she made a post about how her first two children in law are AMAZING ect..ect and that she hopes her future in laws are like that? Meaning…Heidi is not respectful, loving, thankful??
If it were anyone else I'd say maybe it's just a coincidence, but Jill R is one of the most passive aggressive, self righteous people I've ever encountered lol so I honestly believe that last comment is a slight at Heidi. When the other girls were engaged, she wouldn't shut the hell up about how great their fiances were, so her not to including Heidi in that comment is completely on purpose imo.
I think the "don't post about us" thing has something to do with it, like maybe it was Heidi's idea to set that boundary with Jill and Jill is holding that against her. Bc it's not like Jill has ever had to respect anyone's privacy before, it's probably a foreign concept.
