oh chrobin ?

oh, i imagine it had to be an arranged marriage type situation. she must have already been raising ranks and showing a lot of promise when the people in charge decided she would probably make a good mother for a vessel (turns out they were right :l whoops) i personally don’t think too mush on whether or not she and validar were actually in love, though i think that there was probably infatuation (at least, before she started snapping out of it), but more that their relationship was kept professional. I think that if she actually had fallen for him then she would never have run away and awakening would be a lot different, lol, but that’s just the fiction i’ve personally built up

lol yeah i imagined since you could customize your appearance so much its supposed to imply that you get all of it from your mom. also how did who meet? are you talking about robin and their mother?

yes, she was named after the fe12 character! i havent thought of any other names

oooh, i have so many!! i think robin almost completely takes after her. she came from a small town and went into a trading apprenticeship when she was in her early teens and spent years travelling all over. she kind of became disillusioned about man’s cruelty in her late teens which made her susceptible to the grimleal, and since she’s a total genius, ended up rising ranks quickly. it was her pregnancy that knocked some sense into her, and she left, returning back to travelling to keep the grimleal of her and robin’s trail. they spent quite a few years in valm, returning about a year, year and a half prior to the events of the game, and got separated during a storm off the coast of regna feroxwhich destroyed the ship they were on, which is why she isnt present at the start of the game.  if you want classic headcanons, heres a few of mine:-absolutely adores children 

-an excellent mother, always knows just how to handle a situation; loves robin to pieces.absolutely hates not being in control of herself, so robin has only seen her lose her temper maybe twice. basically the perfect mom. got a bad parent? shes your mom now

-knows quite a few languages! also an expert in trade and negotiation and a number of weapons, which happened to become very useful robin down the road lol. complete and total genuis mom teaching complete and total genuis child = perfect tactician

- her hometown is the equivalent of the modern arcadia from fe7, so she has a bit of dragon blood for herself (which resulted in robin getting the mark whoops)

-kinda and warmhearted, having relearned to trust in people. of course, her worst regret is ever joining the grimleal and rejecting humanity (though she assures robin they were the best thing that ever happened to her) so she doesnt talk about it much. 

- she and robin (and since my in fan family robin has reflet as his twin sister) got along by doing whatever work they could do; mercenary work was probably their biggest, but they also worked as farmhands, traders, sailors, entertainers, business consultants, you name it!

- im also a fan of robins mom having those sick nasty grimleal tattoos since its cool as shit
