Boscastle Dark Gathering to start the Samhain period. In the past when fishermen of Cornwall and across the West Country needed to make some more income during the off season, they took to street performing. Due to laws against begging the men would wear rags and blacken their faces to disguise themselves and avoid arrest. This was also a common practice for Samhain where people also dressed in rags, covered their faces with ashes and even cross dressed to disguise themselves from the lost and angry spirits that were said to roam this realm, when the veil is at its thinnest! Blessed Samhain to all 👻🎃👻

Trans guys don’t always get the privilege of being conventionally tall but there’s plenty of both real and fictional men who weren’t towering giants either, and they’re still fantastic. Great things sometimes come in small packages, and you’re not any less manly for it.

Ravens also have regional accents, like the famous Terry.

Raymond is a wild bird that comes to visit his friend Merlyn and likes to make weird noises, but … wait. Was that..? At the 3min mark, was he imitating Merlyn’s laugh?

Generally this type of speech only happens with ravens that are trained and raised and captivity. But there are other wild ravens like Raymond who are freaking people out on a daily basis.
