Evie exhaled a soft breath of surprise as she was over taken by unexpected warmth. It left the Isle Princess beaming. Red lips pulled back to reveal a wide smile, and it’s clear that Snow White had just made her week. With a glove hand, Evie pushes back navy colored curls, carefully tucking the lose strands behind her ear. β€œThank you … Snow.”

Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Anything was such a dangerous thing to wish for, and it still surprised Evie how much those meanings had changed in Auradon. Back on the Isle, when Mom said she could do anything, be anything. She was speaking in terms of curses, hexes, and plots to take the throne. Here, with Snow ( her sister! ) it felt more genuine, that the future truly could be for Evie to decide. β€œI know, and I already have a few ideas in mind about that.” Brown eyes flickered with a certain excitement, as they settled on Auradon’s fairest. Now that she had her long awaited castle, Evie had to find a new challenge to tackle. β€œGood thing a little hard work never scared me, huh?”

also evie wanting to be with her Mom again is bs to me. Evie has a complex and toxic relationship with her Mom that stems from years of abuse but she is not going to fucking run back across the isle to her mom.gtfo here with that mess.

Thoughts on where I stand with Evie in D3.Β 

Most of my issues with the movie, lie with characters other than Evie but there are a few things that I will not be acknowledging.

  • Doug is not Evie’s true love. We don’t see a lot of Doug and Evie’s relationship progress in the movies and I do not have a main Doug to really plot out the ship. Instead, Doug and Evie are close friends and business partner’s nothing more. Evie might have thought that maybe she could love Doug at one point, but when the kiss didn’t work it cleared up all doubts on her mind.Β 
  • Evie would not be so quick to forgive Mal after finding out that she lied. For my Evie especially, getting all the kids off the isle was really important to her. The fact that Mal voted to close the barrier forever and then lie about it to her, would devastate Evie. Enough that she might not be at Mal and Ben’s engagement announcement at the end of the movie.Β
