the way mork tries to hold it together, but his lips end up trembling. and when day is so gently holding his face, tracing over his lips, he finally breaks down. he is the one crying, the one mourning day's sight. but day? day is smiling, keeping his eyes on mork's face until everything fades away.

the very last thing he'll ever see is the man he loves. and while it's bittersweet, it makes him happy. because mork is day's last twilight. he'd happily turn to stone and stare at him forever.
