I’ve been considering archiving this blog and remaking. I’m still in the early stages of rebuilding out the new one, but I think that’s probably the best course of action for me after months and months of feeling more burdened by Tumblr than enlightened by it.

what are the writeblr protocols on randomly messaging people to chat/ask about their WIPs/etc? is that acceptable or frowned upon? only normal if you’re mutuals? what’s the vibe 🤔🤔🤔

Personally, my messages are always open for anyone to come talk about anything, so that’s my approach to messaging people too. I think, like just in making conversation generally, it’s always a good idea to introduce yourself if y’all haven’t talked before and ask questions that aren’t simple yes/no. Give them a chance to talk especially if it’s about their writing ^-^

If you don’t mind me barging in on this conversation, I haven’t met a single writer who didn’t love to chat about their projects, so do send the messages and asks to everyone, they’ll love it ^^

My messages are always open for anyone to come and chat with me as well! I don’t tend to start many messages with people myself since I’m such an awkward and introverted potato, but I really enjoy meeting new people and having a chance to exchanging info about wips and such.
