I’m up in my Oliver feelings and thinking about how you get all these fanarts of all the avatars that gave Jon scars

But then he’s the reverse—he’s the End avatar of the bunch, sure, but Jon didn’t get his End scar from him. Oliver’s the one that showed him the way out of the fear.

Jon was trapped teetering on the edge of death for sixth months in a hellish purgatory, left there to feel the fear of death on and on and on (with the Web waiting and watching for the right moment, like Jonah with his hand on the lever, intent that he feel the fear down to his bones)—

And Oliver’s role? He just showed up to offer Jon a hand out of this hell. He is one of the only central characters in the entire show who never hurt or manipulated or threatened Jon. I LOVE HIM.
