Didn’t even think. I saw our oily burner catch fire after frying eggs, whipped around towards the sink for water, and my brain immediately screamed NO!!! NO WATER! I mean that fire safety stuff straight up bitchslapped me out of REFLEXIVELY setting my house on fire. I found a pot lid and inched it over the burner before turning off the heat. It seems as though the world has gone still from shock, every man in the vicinity holding their breaths at their first glimpse of the princess from up close. I will always love werewolf fics and I will always love Hoseok as a werewolf. I know I have a vampire!Hoseok but the man is made for that…sheer animality that we have with werewolves. And this fic was particularly great as it was fun to get the little tidbits of world building in that he wasn’t always in his current state, that he basically hit what looks like werewolf ‘puberty’.

Him being clingy and protective leading up to his heat is also extra cute like…pls, he just wants to be with his mate. Who he’s obviously chosen to be his mate :3 I appreciate that as a human, she wasn’t freaked out by anything and instead just encouraged him and helped him through the whole process while accepting his base nature implicitly. The mating was perfect and god, we love to see an impregnation kink combined with werewolves lol

You sighed, moving to mirror your best friend’s actions, “Ugh, sorry, sorry. I haven’t been sleeping much lately…” You threw your bag over your shoulder, making your way down and across the room, your loyal guard dog trailing closely behind you.

You held back a snicker at your own thoughts.
