Update on the mod APKs:
The normal one works like charm, although it's slow because you obviously have to wait for the new keys. Another problem is that the moment a new version is released, you have to download the new mod apk and start every book from the beginning.
The VIP version is pretty much useless: I could read five chapters in a row but then I got this message. As it turned out, all I had to do was wait for a while, but even then I could only read one or two chapters before this message popped up again. Guess we're back to the wait for keys thing.
What's next?
I'll keep using these because I want to be up-to-date with Queen B and MTFL, and I also don't want to spend actually-paid-for diamonds on them (for now).
Since I use the VIP mod on my phone and the basic mod on my backup phone, I signed in with my old account on my iPad (I already spent a shitload of money on diamonds back in the day) and started playing with shitty books to get free diamonds. Now, this a slow process, I think we can all agree, so here's what I did.
The VIP subscription is fucking expensive but I did a little math: the basic key and diamond prices aren't exactly low, right? BUT if I subscribe for VIP for 1 month and then immediately cancel it, I have 1 month with unlimited keys, an extra 185 diamonds as a gift, 2 extra diamonds at the end of each chapter and 10 daily check ins.
This is more than I would get with the same amount of money. Let's get the most out of the next month then!
Update: I checked and in the first 24 hrs I managed to get around 130 diamonds. (This time includes sleeping, watching tv shows and playing looooots of CoD.) Now, that's 24 hrs with unlimited keys. You can buy 250 diamonds for $25 (approximately, I had to convert it from HUF) and I haven't mentioned the extra keys yet... That's more expensive than 1 month of VIP subscription ($20).
Oh, and you also get more diamonds as VIP (besides the extra 2 at the end of every chapter):
Conclusion: if you want to mine diamonds fast, subscribing to VIP for 1 month might be a good investment.
