Tired was an understatement for what YN felt. Hell, exhausted was an understatement but it was the best thing that she could come up with to describe the feeling that plagued her.

For a week she’d worked hard for long hours and had little time to rest or properly feed herself. Then once everything was done she hopped on a plane for a fourteen-hour flight to Korea where sleep did not come to her. Or if it did she was awake minutes later and feeling no more rested than when she drifted off. By the time she got off the plane she was practically dead on her feet and had no clue how she made it to baggage claim, let alone the car sent to pick her up.

The upside was that while she was driven home YN finally began to drift off, it wasn’t as deep a sleep, but it was something. Not that she could even fully process that or find the time to care, the idea of getting a little rest before getting home was enticing enough. In fact, she’d deluded herself so much into not thinking about anything but sleep that she didn’t take notice of when the car stopped, the driver got out, or when he returned with an amused and concerned Johnny. Or when Johnny coerced her into wrapping her legs around his waist and arms around his neck so he could carry her into the building along with her bags. 

His struggle to keep her backpack from sliding off his shoulder was the first time she perceived him, but that was short lived. Her body found comfort that she’d been missing as she clung to him and finally allowed her to drift into real sleep. It didn’t last long, but it was enough that when she opened her eyes they didn’t hurt.

Johnny sat on their bed with YN in his lap, her body facing off to the side. One of his hands cupped her face as he spoke to her.

“Baby, can you stay up for a little while? You need to shower and eat something.”

I reported a racist manager to hr for making a slavery joke at my expense. "Somehow" that information became available to the whole store and I was retaliated against by my co workers and management for a month and a half.

It was effecting my health so I quit. I posted about it on fb and it's going viral now because the store is very popular.

Not sure if I want to post it here yet. I did all the adult things you are supposed to do (paper work and eeoc stuff) but I'm really upset. I hate that I had to do any of this in the first place.

Let it rip!!! This behavior needs to blasted! I stand with you and others will too!
