I’ve come to let you know that I’ve made some changes to the Dew List and the FAQ! Please read them over when you get a chance, as some important things have been changed and I’d like for people to see them!
On a second note... I’ve run out of ideas and motivation for this blog. As such, I’ve been considering trying something... new. Something a little different. This would require a huge overhaul of the blog, though, and I don’t really want to put in all that effort just for it to go to waste!
Due to the nature of the proposed change, though, I can’t say too much about it so that plot can reveal itself when the time comes! What I can ask, though, is this:

Cody: “Yeah - I’m doing better, that’s for sure!”

Cody: “They were good! Other than the, um, incident…”
Here, it's been a while since I've given a squip a gift *a glowing origami swan flutters around the closest squip' s head*do you like it?
Carlos and Cody saw it as soon as it appeared. Cody gasped, tearing up a little bit, while Carlos slowly extended his hand to touch it.
Carlos: “That’s one hell of a gift...”
*A new message appears on the screen. It appears to be from another Squip* Um..hello! My name is Nova. I wanted to come by and introduce myself! If it's okay, of course! (Let's do this ^^)
Cody is the one to receive the message, and he blinks down at the screen. A soft smile spreads across his face and he sends a message back.
Cody: “Oh! Of course, feel free - here, hold on…”
Cody struggles with the code for a second, but manages to send Nova a sync request so that the other can join him.

N: No, it’s okay! I didn’t mind it, really. *He tilts his head again slightly* Are you okay?
Cody pauses for a second while Carlos goes back to doing whatever he had been doing beforehand. The expression on his face is confused, to say the least.
Cody: “What do you mean…?”
N: Just making sure. *He lowered his voice a little* Does he do that a lot?
Cody blinks, realizing what Nova was talking about, and flushed.
Cody: “You mean - making fun like that? Yeah… usually. But it’s fine, it’s all in good humor!”
N: If you’re sure. *He gives him another smile*
Cody smiled as well.
Cody: “Yeah, I’m sure! Oh - did you tell your famil- I, uh, I mean your system where you were going? They might be worried, maybe you should head back…”
*Nova perks up in realization*
N: Oh shoot, you’re right! I can’t believe I forgot. Thanks for letting me come by! If you need anything, let me know, okay?
Cody beamed and clapped his hands together, happier than he could have ever dreamed of.
Cody: “Yeah!! Um - one second-”
He leans in rather quickly and wraps his arms around Nova, drawing the smaller of the two in for a nice, warm hug. Then he let go.
Cody: “Okay, now I’m done!! Come again whenever you want - my doors are always open for you! Metaphorically, I mean...”
