- Ben is an A+++ sweetheart towards his s/o
-Lots of cute dates with you
-Hot chocolate, enjoying rainy days, walks
-Gifts are often matching jewelry like small necklaces or rings or books with a different flower attached to it
-Lots of reading together
-On the bed, sofa, on the floor, outside if possible
-But you both had to be together
-You both would read each a book and when you both finish, you would switch to read
-Afterwards, you would both discuss the book, favorite/ least favorite parts, theories
-It’s like a book club except it’s just the two of you silently reading unless something made you laugh
-How he loved that sound
-Or cry
-He got concerned but you told him it was nothing but explained why you reacted that way
-He would kiss your cheek because he knows that feeling when something happens in a story or to a character
-He would also get lost in your eyes while he did it
-He loves how invested you would get in a book
-But he’s sarcastic, snarky at times
-Towards you because you both had a very sarcastic sense of humor
-Call it a sarcastic battle (who wins?!)
-Towards Klaus most of the time (because he wants what’s best for him)
-Or the bad guys
-He would do anything to protect his s/o
-He wishes he can control his powers but when he sees his s/o in danger, run
-He summons the creatures and starts attacking
-You try not to look but you wanted to know if/when Ben was safe
-Bonus: if the attacker has you, he immediately starts attacking and one of the tentacles carefully takes you away and puts you somewhere safe
-He’s glad that he was able to save you but he gets worried, terrified that you would leave him because you saw “The Horror”
-You would help calm him down and assure him that you wouldn’t leave him especially if it has to do about his past and his father or something he can’t control at times
-He’s so grateful to have you in his life
-He grabs your face and just gazes at you with slight tears
-“How did I end up with someone like you?”
-Lots of hugs and soft kisses
-He loves you so much
