//Oh wow, nearly at 2k followers over here! Such a great thing to log into.

Apologies I’ve been gone for ages over here. I’ve been dealing with some pretty hefty depression lately and it just hasn’t been fun but this blog is always at the back of my thoughts, sitting there, poking at me, and wanting to be continued.

If you’re still here with me and patiently waiting for an update, I want to give a huge thanks to you, you’re so incredibly patient and it means the world to me! As always this blog is not abandoned. There’s far too big of a story to tell here for it to be abandoned :)

//Yikes it has been a while, hasn’t it! Life’s been pretty busy this summer but after finally getting around to watching the new Daring Do episode, I’ve found some new inspiration! As always, this blog isn’t dead, I’ve just got a million and one other things going on, so this blog always takes a backseat to those things.

However, I will be working on the next update and hopefully have it done relatively soon! Thanks so much for sticking around and for 1,700+ followers! You’re all great!

Fun fact: Hazel’s voice sounds exactly like Eddie Redmayne’s. Yep, that is all.

Just to give you guys an idea on how smol of a pony Hazel is, have a height chart. The figure on the very left is an important character that will show up muchhhhhhhh much later, but he’s good for size comparison because he’s about the basic height of a full grown stallion. 

Hazel is such a smol horse. Extra smol bby time horse. Barely taller than Daring even lol

Am I... Am I going crazy?!

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up, the next update is being worked on and is more than halfway complete! In fact, I noticed that this particular panel I drew for this next update is really close to some of the first sketches I made when planning out these two and their dynamic. And as I realized this, I also realized how far I’ve come and how much I’ve improved. It’s really so rewarding to look back and see how much progress has come from only 8 months.

So here’s to say that if you’re struggling with your art (which I still do, every single day), just keep at it. If you have a passion and love for it, you will absolutely get better.
