Do you like your queer romance with a fun mystery and healthy dose of horror to make the medicine go down?

Check out my webcomic Kingfisher, an occult mystery series set in the 1920s!

We now have nearly 250 pages of reality shifting puzzle boxes, gun-totting tea drinking mobsters, dubious cocktails, and an immensely slow burn romance! 

The current book is Rotgut, where a strange plague seems to sweeping over the city with a strange inhuman being in the center of it. Can Seymour and Gabriel navigate the increasingly complicated web of lies and relationships to find the truth at its center? Can Seymour discover the secrets of the mysterious artifact, the Kingfisher Box? Can gentlewoman thief Fox ever stop finding herself being pulled into their messes?

And maybe, just maybe, our main couple will hold hands by the end of it? Just once?

Remember! The road to hell is paved with good intentions!

The first book, Foxhunt and it's accompanying short story, is finished. If you want to read it in it's entirity (and maybe throw a couple of bucks my way) you can buy the pdf in my shop.

Hey, it’s #webcomicday, and I’d super love it if you checked out my second long form comic, SHOT AND CHASER. It’s set in May 2020 in the Texas panhandle and is about destructive forces like tornadoes and shame.

About 2/3 done at 164 pages, and for mature readers. (No sex, drugs, or violence, but it’s all about the complicated gray-area mess of life.) CWs: takes place in early May 2020. Also CPTSD/past religious abuse is part of the plot. SHOT AND CHASER is mirrored on Tapas and ComicFury at a long delay, but it’s best read on its own independent site with no ads. I anticipate finishing it sometime in 2025. Cheers!

What's this about, you say? In the 1630s, the Dutch came down with tulip mania, and enterprising florists looking to make a quick buck produced a speculative bubble that was forerunner of the Beanie Baby craze of the 90s or the NFT market of...last year.

Enter two devils, hellbent on convincing the residents of a backwater port town to stake their fortunes and souls on a promising bulb. And also invest in a potential pharmaceutical scandal, read questionable religious tracts, and possibly adopt a pug of great ambitions and ill repute.

2 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp dark soy sauce 1 Tbsp shaoxing wine 1 Tbsp sesame oil 1 inch grated ginger 1 minced garlic clove 1/2 Tbsp sugar

Bonus tip : you can add an egg (or more) to make hard boiled eggs at the same time (to eat now or later)

Bonus tip #2 : you can cook half rice, half quinoa/small green lentils (takes the same time)
