None of my mods require an update.
However, as a precaution I made some updates/changes to my old "Cat Whisperer Career" hosted at MTS. I also removed the included script in the process. The career now depends on lot51's Core Library instead.

Hi All, Studio is updated for the new kits. Both versions also include an experimental batch fix for custom toddler presets that became distorted in the game after an EA update (see comment below the images).
If you're considering running the toddler preset batch fix, please read all the notes on it fully before using it. You can find these notes HERE, and they are also linked in the download post. Please be sure to make a backup of your files before starting.

In October 2022 Sims 4 Studio added support for Blender 3.3. If you’re considering switching to the new Blender version from 2.7, you’ll find a few tips below to help you getting started/use the updated interface. Feel free to let me know if you have any other tips or suggestions. Update: Support for newer Blender versions was added at a later point (and might be expanded in the future). The guide applies for Blender 3.3, 3.6 and 4.0 in the same way. See extra note regarding inserting keyframes for Blender 4.1(+).
Small update regarding inserting keyframes in Blender 4.1 (& other small updates and clarifications):
Since Blender 4.1 you only need to press “I” to automatically insert a keyframe based on your preferences (under Blender Preferences -> Animation), while pressing “K” brings up the keyframe menu with the options.
Temporary Note for S4S version 3.2.1.7:
S4S version 3.2.1.7 throws an error upon exporting clips when using Blender 3.3. This is a temporary issue and is supposed to be corrected with the next S4S release.
-> Fixed in 3.2.1.8 according to the notes.
Hi! I was wondering if you knew a gallery pose i could use with the Broke family for The Sims 4, preferably one where Brandi is not pregnant and already had the baby (which can be a toddler or an Infant) Your resources are amazing, thank you!
Hi hi! You mean a mom with 3 kids? Not sure I know poses like that specifically but you can take a look at poses with 2 parents + 2 kids and try replacing the second adult by a teen.
For example, if you add a pet, you can probably use one of these:

Whether or not it works depends on how the creator set up the pose. It's likely that poses dependant on the No Randomization mod won't allow for it, unless teen poses were specifically added by the creator.
This adds a bunch of ingame poses I found to the recource responsible for the random first gallery pic.

This mod adds more variety to your Gallery poses by including additional in-game poses.
Please note that this mod conflicts with my mods for Gallery poses (No More Mirroring mod and No Randomization mod) but you won't need them here since they have the opposite purpose. (Don't use this mod, however, when you're using custom Gallery poses that need my mods to work.)

Andrew has updated (the late) CmarNYC's SimRipper for The Sims 4 game patch 1.105, and it has a new home: https://sims4studio.com/thread/34354/ts4-sim-ripper.
Support for horses was also just added in version 3.14.2.2 :-)
Note that Andrew has not adopted SimRipper and is not taking requests. He only kindly agreed to update it. The source code is linked in the thread if someone is interested in adopting/developing the tool in the future.

EA added a new CAS texture with this stuff pack that is still not fully incorporated into Studio. That will be included in a subsequent update that will be out as soon as possible. The changelogs are in the download threads.

Thank you for the notification ❤️ I'm afraid this is not the first and not the last of such incidents and we can't stop this altogether. But I think it's important to speak out when you see it and reiterate why mod packs are a bad idea for everyone involved.
I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.
As well as Sims, Cmar loved cats, and donations are suggested to the ASPCA, the TinyKittens Society, or an animal-related charity near you.
We've been worried for a while and now unfortunately learned that Cmar has passed away. Cmar has contributed so much to our community and will be always remembered as a kind and generous person. Thank you Luth for crafting this post.

Hi! I've been try to download your sims 4 cas lighting mod but it never shows up in my game. I've looked multiple times to see if I have any other cas lighting mod in my game but I couldn't find anything. Is there any other mod or cc that I may be missing that could be causing the lighting mod not to work? Or maybe just list some mods/cc that could cause this problem so I can look it up in my folder if you don't mind. Please help, Thank you so much!
Hi hi,
remove everything from your mods folder except for the CAS lighting you wanna use, see if it works then. If it does, then there’s a conflicting file somewhere in your mods folder. You can use the 50:50 method to identify it – some tips here. You can also search your mods folder for relevant keywords like CAS, lighting etc.
Place the sims in CAS in this order:

Update November 1st 2023: I made this pose originally in 2020 using the mirroring effect that is/was applied for household pictures. However, EA broke it with the patch for the Horse Ranch EP in 2023. I therefore remade this pose so that the mirroring is no longer used. In case EA ever fixes the mirroring again, you’ll need the No More Mirroring Mod for the pose to work.
