Honest pre-finals week mess

i promised myself that once the summer quarter started i’d explore main campus more and the first place i went was the library

my mind feels so refreshed with a new environment and in general, i have always loved the library

this quarter has been difficult, with my real estate transaction course being a lot harder than i expected. meeting with my professor tomorrow though to get a better understanding of class expectations and areas of improvement.

surprisingly, although i’m not doing super well, it’s my favorite course. maybe tied with alternative dispute resolution because i love the simulations; they’re so much fun!

the hardest part of my week is over, so i’m happy to enjoy thursday-monday catching up on some things and getting some kinda big assignments done

reminder to keep active this exam season. get away from your desk, go for walks, enjoy the spring. keep going to the gym if that's something you do. not only is it good for your body, you'll feel better too and it'll help relieve stress

april | first week of the semester done. this semester, i decided to take spanish 🎉 it’s been good so far. pretty similar to my first language which has been very helpful. so happy to see the sun shining this week as well, we’ve been having cloudy, and i am over that. but here’s to more learning and more of the sun shining ☀️

i’ve done everything on my work to-do list so hey, let’s study at clinic.

In a day that is so hot and sunny---a day in summer.... Children get to go out and play, Dogs get to go on short walks, and I get to stay at home and study physics. 🫤🙃

20.05.22 • beware for i have arrived and am back to studying! ⊂(´･◡･⊂ )∘˚˳° it's been almost a month since the term started however i needed some time to adjust everything because i'm telling you german uni lectures are a bit different from what i'm used to, and it took me some time to settle everything down. anyways! i'm back here and also studying and not gonna lie, i think i missed studying and posting here a little? i hope you all are fine and doing well. <3

Hello world!

I'm a 28yo on a coding journey.

I spent all my 20s struggling with health issues, postponing all my dreams, and missing out on opportunities. I don't want to bring that into my 30s with me. So I'm not going to!

Building websites is something that I always wanted to do, I've made my first attempts at coding around eight years ago, but then life happened, I got sick and learning to code was no longer a priority, eventually I completely gave up on my dream of becoming a web developer.

But it's never too late to start again, as long as I'm breathing and my brain is functioning, I can do whatever I set my mind to!

I made this sideblog to document my progress, share my learning and maybe inspire some passers-by.

There's no failure, except in no longer trying.
