WIP-All Hallow’s Eve

Book: The Elementalists

Subjects: Nelle x Pend Pals

Rating: Spooky innuendo/foreshadowing, the scariest stuff is yet to come…

Summary: “Silly girl…haven’t you ever wondered what happens in a place like this on All Hallow’s Eve?”

Disclaimer: All characters (except Nelle) belong to Pixelberry Studios

Author note: Coming off a totally unannounced semi-hiatus to post this random WIP that I wrote a long ass time ago bc it’s Halloween and the absolute last day it makes sense to do this so…yeah. I hope my friends from my last couple fics don’t mind being tagged again.

Huh, this is strange, Nelle says to herself.

Or she thinks she says. Right now, Nelle isn’t sure if she’s talking or thinking, walking or floating, living or dead.

She’s somehow slowly propelling herself forward through no work of her own, seeing dark shapes that she has the vaguest feeling she should recognize, but some sort of mental haze has ultimately rendered them meaningless in her mind.

One thing she knows for sure, this isn’t a dream. Whatever is happening to her is definitely the result of magick. The kind that’s heavy and all encompassing and ancient.

As if on cue, her thoughts start to clear right as the panic sets in. She looks down first and sees her feet moving underneath a long dark garment that she’s sure she never owned; she is walking, black moss and grass beneath her. She looks forwards and upwards at once, and realizes the dark shapes are trees, impossibly tall and endless in number. She feels the presence of other attuned, and without looking, feels a wave of something between relief and dread upon realizing she’s not alone.

Gathering her courage, Nelle looks behind her and comes to her most shocking realization yet: she’s in the midst of about a dozen other attuned, all dressed in hooded midnight blue cloaks, all seemingly under the same trance, moving wordlessly through the forest that flanks Penderghast.

A subtle nudge in the arm from her friend Shreya Mistry jostles the last bit of fog from Nelle’s brain. She strides next to Nelle, draped in the same mysterious robe, the usual playful and smug look in her eye combined with another new emotion. Fear? Shreya hazards sneaky glances Nelle, silently beckoning her to ask the burning question that must be consuming her thoughts.

Shreya, what the fuck is going on right now? Nelle whispers urgently.

“Silly girl. I know you’re new to all this but,” Shreya smiles wickedly, “haven’t you ever wondered what happens in a place like this on All Hallow’s Eve?”

Okay correct me if I’m wrong but that diamond option with Poppy is the first Choices wlw sex scene that actually seems like it was written by a woman that has had sex with another woman before.

For once its not just our “bodies colliding” like hello toys nice to see you here

Ma'am if I do not either get Robin and Sofia fucking each other behind mc and Sam's back or them plotting together to take over Dalton Enterprise and merge their businesses together what's the fucking point

Especially since they both couldn’t make it to the gala at the last minute. And Sofia’s “work meeting” that she shooed MC away from that didn’t involve Sam.

imo what should have happened is that after we wake up in our own time. mc goes to the museum and she meets with robert. they steal the compass and then a diamond choice whether to stay in the past permanently or using the compass, brings her li to the future. the free choice of course is just accepting things as they are.

those who stayed in the past could then live out the adventures the museum lady described (fighting seven pirate kings etc) and those in the future could also live out their lives with their lis introducing them to future technology etc.

everybody wins.
