The inspector gazed upon the prisoner, not completely satisfied with what he could gather so far-- the Noah had proven to be secretive despite the fact that he was chained to the walls, his abilities made vain by the Science Divisions’ miraculous inventions.
The inspector knew the general limitation to a human’s mind and body, however, and he was sure that even someone who claims to be a super-person couldn’t hold on too long, especially when bared from his special features.
The inspector knocked on the metal door of the prison, and with a hand gesture to the guard, he was handed a walking cane, the head of which was made of metal with immidiately visible sharp edges. With his eyes glowing intently, the inspector turned to the chained Noah, weighing the stick in his hand as a smile formed on his face that certainly wasn’t lighting up his features.
“You must know the saying, ‘Sticks and stones may break my bones.’ -- well, let’s see if the stick part of it is actually true, shall we?”
