The TV program that left behind so many puzzles even as it ended, Evangelion. Does Gendo really love Shinji? What are the Angels? And other such questions are inexhaustible, but, of course, what we, as JUNE, want to know first and foremost is why Kaworu and Shinji’s relationship turned out like that. Taking together the PR Manager, Sato, and the one who extended episode 24 to three hours long, Director Anno, this interview first compiles the (confidential) Kaworu and Shinji episode and the parts in which they tell us about the troubles that they had expressing the director’s intention.
