I see that everyone seemed to have gotten their zines about a week ago. I ... know I ordered the Glory! zine and this one, but I haven't received either of them. I'm really starting to worry that something happened with the address I put down. Is there any way I can see what address I wrote down, or find out if you guys are still in the process of shipping zines?

Our final zine shipment went out last week and that was only for zines that were ordered in the last 2 weeks. If you pre-ordered the zine last year or it’s been 2+ weeks since you received a confirmation email that your order shipped, we would be more than happy to send you another!

Please email us at spngabrielzine@gmail.com with your address, order number, and bundle type so we can check everything over and get it sorted.

My copy of @gabrielzine arrived earlier this week, and I realized that I never posted my full piece for it on tumblr, even after we were given the go-ahead. So, here it is. According to the file on my laptop, I started this in late July of last year, so a lot about my style has changed, but it’s neat to look back on where I was at the time.

It was an honor to work on the project and it was a great opportunity to work with so many fantastic artists in the fandom. Every piece in the book is just incredible and as a relatively new artist on here, it was both a humbling and rewarding experience. Thank you @gabrielzine for letting me take part!

My piece for Trumpeter, the Gabriel zine. Another amazing project that really forced allowed me to stretch my wings.

By the way, here’s my piece for The Trumpeter @gabrielzine.

I’m gonna be totally open and upfront about this one. I’m not proud that this was the piece I decided to put out there for such an important project, but it is what it is.

At the time of the deadline I was going through my worst moments within this fandom, and part of me felt it was better to “just do SOMEthing, ANYthing” than back out. It’s very frustrating for me, given I had done, at least, 8 other sketches/ideas for this project.

As I said before it is what it is, and thankfully, my feelings towards this piece and all it meant at the time are overshadowed by all the other beautiful pieces and contributions from the other artists that participated in this zine :)

Here’s my illustration for the wonderful @gabrielzine and I’m so happy that I was apart of this zine.

I wanted to recreate a favorite painting of mine but also create a loving but dysfunctional family moment between Chuck and arch angels.

Illustration #3 for the Gabriel Fanzine

This one has no special meaning: just me expressing, through color and texture,  the pure joy I always felt seeing this snarky, clever, irrepressibly jolly bastard on screen.

You can find holiness in unlikely places: in the gutter, in the corners of the world where everyday heroes are still hanging on after so long losing autonomy over themselves.

I will forever be grateful for Gabriel because he was a champion of personal agency, who advocated the right of survivors to run to greener pastures without shame, a communicator who compellingly taught the often foolish protagonists of Supernatural some much-needed lessons.  I will always miss him.

Traditional media: Rembrandt chalk pastels, flat and iridescent India ink, Conte crayons; watercolors; Micron pens.

Thank you for this opportunity, @gabrielzine! <3

Illustration #2 for the Gabriel Fanzine

At the same time as he is a terrifying weapon of God, Gabriel is also the one Archangel who truly “went native” on earth, showering humans with love and admiration, and warmly irreverent humor.  It’s always struck me how much the little dog in his debut episode, Tall Tales, represents Gabriel.  And despite taking their knocks for no justifiable reason, maybe the plucky runts among us are the bravest survivors of all.
This is my tribute to Gabriel’s capacity to refrain from judgment, to espouse the freedom to live in joy and kindness toward others.

Thank you for this opportunity, @gabrielzine! <3

Illustration #1 for the Gabriel Fanzine

We too often forget that Gabriel was, and is, a full-tilt, wrathful, and holy Archangel, who has appeared, canonically, and pivotally, as a warrior and messenger in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim religions.
This is my tribute to that side of him, perhaps during the first battle with The Darkness.

Since the zine is now released to the public (even with all the set backs) I will now post my piece in all its entire glory! This is Gabriel coming to Loki’s aid….and making him a ‘deal’

This is my Gabriel piece for the Gabriel zine by @gabrielzine.

(though I’ve yet to get my book yet v.v )

Hello, everyone!

Our final donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been made. We had a total of $187 USD left from the zine’s funds and decided to chip in some of our own make it a rounded $200.

Thank you all so much for making our little project a success! We’re so unbelievably grateful for the support and for the hard work that our artists put in to make this something special.

If you missed your window to buy a copy of the zine but are still feeling generous, please consider donating to any of the following charities that Richard Speight Jr. has also publicly supported:

Thank you!

Our shop’s stock is officially sold out and our store is now CLOSED! All of the most recent orders will ship this upcoming Tuesday and then we’ll be pooling everything together for our donation.

Despite the conversation rate of our funds, this project was still a huge success! It looks like our final donation to St. Jude’s is going to be around $250 CAD/$185 USD. We’ll be posting screencaps of the final amount once it’s donated, as well as linking back to all of the charities that Richard supports for anyone interested in making a personal donation.

Thank you all!
