I was wondering if you can do College Enemies to Lovers prompts and one-liners, you know where B transfers to the college A is in; Kinda like After but different where A and B have to share dorms. It’s been a while since I’ve done any enemies to lovers and this is just the ask I need to get back into it. (In some prompts they share a room, in some they share an apartment / house.)

Enemies to Lovers College Roommates Prompts

Prompts

  1. A insists on dividing their room in half exactly, so B makes sure to “accidentally” leave their things on A’s side.
  2. A and B fight over who gets the bigger room. A managed to snag it first but when they go home for a weekend, B swaps the rooms around. Let the room war begin.
  3. A keeps sending away B’s dates when they show up at the door, totally not out of jealousy.
  4. A hasn’t been on dates in a while and B makes fun of them for it. A makes a big show of pretending to go on dates and even fakes sex noises in their room to convince B they’re getting lucky.
  5. A’s bed breaks and the couch hurts their back, leaving them with one (reluctant) sleeping alternative: B’s bed.
  6. A leaves sticky notes with condescending reminders on them (“Dirty dishes go into the sink, not beside it”) for B, who replies with equally petty stick notes of their own.
  7. They decide to treat themselves to some new IKEA furniture, only to bicker and fight while building it.
  8. A complains about B walking around with barely any clothes on, starting a game of chicken where B walks around with less and less clothes.
  9. Though A has never asked them too, B always makes A breakfast with their own. Until one day after a particularly bad fight with A, and A can’t help but yearn for that domestic gesture.
  10. A realises they’re in love with B and quarantines themself in their room until it wears off. B, convinced A is upset or crazy, breaks down the door and demands to know what’s going on.

  1. “You can’t give me the silent treatment forever, we share a room.”
  2. “It’s 3am. Where were you this time?”
  3. “You are banned from cooking, okay? I can’t take the smell of burning anymore.”
  4. “Something tells me you’re sleeping with me just so you can stay in the bigger room.”
  5. “Are you . . . wearing my clothes?” “If I’m the one washing them, I’m the one wearing them.”
  6. “What, did you think we’d live together forever? You enrage me. I can’t wait to leave.”
  7. “I can hear you crying through the door.”
  8. “I go to a party to get away from you and, of course, you’re at that same party.”
  9. “CAN YOU STOP LOUDLY TYPING ON THAT FUCKING LAPTOP?!”
  10. “It’s my house too, I’m allowed walk around in as little clothes as I want.”

  • "i told you i have someone coming over today and you leave this mess?" "if it's so important to you. you clean it."
  • "accidentally" locking the other one out
  • taking their sweet time in the only bathroom on purpose
  • "i told you not to put this in the wash load! look at what you did to it!" "you trusting me with your belongings was your first mistake."
  • one leaving all the lights on because they know it bothers the other to no end
  • doors slamming. all the time.
  • being petty and not sharing certain belongings (like i mean going as far to use separate HAND SOAPS)
  • when one is watching a movie and the other silently sits down to tune in.
  • ^ maybe they had the intention of criticizing their taste in movies, but find out that the film is kind of interesting
  • "hey, you haven't come out of your room in like two days...i'm not worried or anything but the dishes are piling up and i need you to be alive so you can take care of them, so..."
  • one just happening to make "too much" of the other's favorite meal/dessert and offers to share to simply get rid of it.
  • "i would have gotten this done earlier if you hadn't distracted me!" "i didn't do anything this time!" "your face did!"
  • taking any compliments they get and running with it
  • "that's my hoodie..." "oh." "it's fine. i was going to get rid of it anyway. especially now that you've worn it."
  • one coming home a little later than usual and the other starts silently freaking out
  • if living with more people: sneaking into each others rooms at night because they know they'll get teased into oblivion if their relationship is revealed.
  • "we watched this movie last night...why are you watching it again?" "you and i both know we didn't get to actually watch anything yesterday."

as the request stated, that ‘i am trying really hard to keep hating you‘ phase, or what i like to call the reluctant friend stage. feel free to use :)

  • “i think we’re friends now.” “God, don’t say that.”
  • “everything is just a competition for you… isn’t it?” “isn’t it for you, too?”
  • “h—” “don’t talk to me.”
  • “i’d pay good money for you to admit you tolerate me.” “tolerate being the operative word.”
  • “why can’t you open up to me?” “why do you want me to?”
  • they’re so used to hating each other sometimes the snide remarks just slip out LMAO
  • like “should i get you something too?” “you can get out of my fa— woah, hehe. sorry.”
  • “you’re still on that?” “still on that..??? STILL ON THAT?????? I CANT STAND YOU???!!!(!;!”
  • a whispered moment between them ; “i’m trying so hard to hate you.” “why?”
  • they’re trying hard to hate each other then something happens (plot) and they’re stuck together which makes it ten times harder
  • “be honest with me.” “but why? why would i do that?”
  • “stop.” “stop what?” “being so kind to me.”
  • remember… they hated each other a couple chapters back. what changed? why did it change? who did it start to change in first?
  • the moment where your character asks themselves; “when did this nuisance become so important to me?”
