Hi! I was wondering if you could create a list of alternate words for "ask" because you made one for "said" and it was super helpful and it'd be great if you made one for "ask". If you can or can't it's cool. Just wondering.

Maybe some time soon... >.> I feel like I’ve left this blog to die, but I’m gonna try to revive it soon!

Okay so...I just found your blog (via pinterest oddly enough) and I am in love. Only looked at a few post but I'm 100% positive that I'm going to be using it alot. You post some seriously helpful shit. Thank you for all of the future help!!

I saw your post about words to say instead of "said". At the end of which you mentioned you're an English/creative writing double major. I'm starting to look at schools and as an aspiring writer was trying to find a similar program. Where do you go? If you don't mind my asking.

I know that this is probably from a million years ago, but I’m gonna answer it anyway! I go to a small school, so I won’t be naming it for now. But basically, when I was looking where to go, I had to look for colleges with undergrad creative writing programs. I always had to make sure they weren’t grad programs (because most creative writing programs are -- or, at least, they were near me).

This is my partner, Jackie. She’s in a rough living situation right now, and without getting too into details I’ll just say that she desperately needs out of her home for a little bit. She needs $5,000 to move into a dorm, but she’s only asking for $1,000.

Please consider donating. We would both appreciate any money you can send her way.

I can also offer any services in exchange for a donation. We can discuss a cost later, but I can proofread and edit anything you send my way. I can also help with more specific things that I usually wouldn’t do on this blog. Please message me if you’re interested, and we can work something out. I can handle anything academic or creative. Whatever you need me to do, I’ll probably be willing to do it.

Every dollar will help. I know I have over 5k followers. If all of you donated at least one dollar, Jackie would be more than set to go for next year. Please understand she wouldn’t be asking if her situation wasn’t desperate.

I’m seeing a lot of activity with this post of people saying “I wish I could help.” And signal boosting helps, but there hasn’t been a single donation yet. I’m serious when I say that even $1 helps. It adds up, and by $11 or so, it ends up being an hour one of us doesn’t have to work. It becomes an hour that we can spend on studying or sleeping. It won’t be an hour we had to beg out of bosses because hours are short.

Hey, everyone! Sorry for being so bad with this account!

Just wanted to say Happy Pride Month to any of my followers that happen to be LGBT+!

I actually just came out as pansexual to my best friends a few days ago because it’s June, and it felt so fucking liberating! (They were super supportive!) I hope everyone has a good June!!

Soulmate AUs masterpost!!

Seeing as these seem to be getting more and more popular, I thought I’d compile a list of all the different varieties I’d seen. Suggest more if you’ve seen them, and feel free to message me with sources to add if you remember where the original post is!

  • Classic: people realising they’re soulmates as soon as their eyes meet. The power of a glance, as Victor Hugo would say.
