“Why don’t you come here, instead? There are plenty of people here who would appreciate you magicking a milkshake onto their porch.”

“Actually... you’re right! Maybe I should take a trip to see you. It’s been a while, and I can smuggle sprinkles in for your milkshakes and everything. Real contraband.”

“Maybe it doesn’t work.”

“Truce? Have you seen my badge anywhere- oh milkshake!”

“I stand corrected, my experiment, in fact, brings one daddy to the yard.”

Phoenix was halfway through the milkshake “what’s this about experiments? Did you put something in the milkshake?”

“No, but maybe next time– I mean!” WHOOPS. “Um, you did check it to make sure there weren’t ants in there, right? I mean, it’s been outside for a little while now, daddy.”

“It had ants you say? Mmm protein shake!” Phoenix smirked and downed the rest. He was thirsty and not gonna say no to a free drink

“It might have! But as long as you like it, that’s all that matters in the long run, right, daddy?”

“Maybe it doesn’t work.”

“Truce? Have you seen my badge anywhere- oh milkshake!”

“What can I say? My act was popular, so I extended it. Next time, I promise I’ll give fair warning~. You know, to prepare Charley.”

“I’m holding you to that. Next time, I’d better have the advance warning to prepare Charley for how proud of you he’s going to be when you get back. I think you’ve overwhelmed him this time.”

“Don’t worry, Athena and Mr Wright were mostly well-behaved.” The only thing that’d been beaten up lately was his ego, but what else was new. “I take it you get to have a break, now? Pudding’s much better when you get to slow down and enjoy it, you know.”

“Aww, Polly... I’m glad to have made Charley so proud. He’s not getting any younger, y’know. So any chance to impress him, I’ll take it.”

“Good! I’m glad to hear it.” Besides, everyone should know by now that the only person allowed to harass dear Apollo is Trucy, duh. “I do, fortunately! Yeah, I think I vaguely remember what that’s like. Sort of. But you might have to remind me, you know?”

“Well, you could’ve told us how long you’d be gone! I would’ve voted to promote Charley instead if I’d known what we were in for.”

“But it’s good to have you back. I haven’t had a good excuse to stock up on pudding cups without you.”

“What can I say? My act was popular, so I extended it. Next time, I promise I’ll give fair warning~. You know, to prepare Charley.”

“I’m glad to be back. Clearly, you need an excuse to buy copious amounts of pudding again. Also, I hope that daddy and Athena haven’t been beating you up too badly.”

“Sooo… what did I miss?”

“Trucy, you’re back!!! Thank goodness!”

“We promoted Mr Hat to temporary-CEO in your absence, and he’s not pulling his weight at all!”

“Did you really think I wouldn’t be back, Polly? The office must be a complete disaster!”

“Well, you know how hard he tries! Even still, it’s good to be back~! I’ll make sure to send him back into retirement.”
