Before I finish a batch of commissions, I wanted to finish this sketch.

After a solid two months of reading fenders fanfics, I can’t even name what’s my favorite, but each one inspired me.

I probably should have put this on my actual art blog. Opps.

My goal is to make as much JustFenders content as possible. Also, I’m trying to figure out a new style and these two (or three) are my test subjects.

I like to think the story behind this is a group of assholes are harassing Anders, and his violent boyfriend stands up for him. 

On that note, there’s one less asshole in Kirkwall.

For a friend over on discord! We have a Scifi au rp going where Fenris and Anders adopt a tiny three-leg baby nug. I went a bit overboard with the clothes, but it was fun to draw.

The Mage Hunter found his mage after years of him being trapped in Tevinter   I wanted to contribute to my favorite ship after recent negativity thrown around. It’s a good ship with lots of potential for growth.

I just wanted to say that I’m still accepting submissions for the wntersend. I will still accept submissions until Monday next week. I have the end date for the gifts in mid Janurary to give everyone time. 

Fenders Narrative Symmetry

Ok wait sorry if someone pointed this out already but is anyone else just fascinated by how neatly Fenris and Anders’ arcs parallel one another?

As children - Anders keeps trying to run away. He’s alone, and he’s trying to survive. He doesn’t do it for anyone else, he’s escaping from people who chase him down, hurt him and imprison him.

Fenris actively chooses to fight his oppressors (admittedly within their limitations.) He sacrifices himself and his own chance at freedom for the sake of others, and willingly allows his body to be permanently changed, giving him strange and unusual powers.

As adults - Fenris runs away. He’s alone, he doesn’t take anyone with him. He’s trying to survive and he’s escaping from people who chase him down, hurt him and try to enslave him.

Anders chooses to fight his oppressors. He willingly allows his body to be permanently changed, giving him strange and unusual powers, in order to fight for the freedom and safety of others.

Decided to give Fenris and Anders updated looks. They look a bit anime-ish, but that’s fine. Anders is a magical school girl and Fen-Fen here already looks like a final fantasy reject.
