"What an honor and a delight it is to get to say these words to you: Cincinnati, Ohio, welcome to the Eras Tour! I do have a question. I think I know the answer to it, just based on what I have experienced for the first few minutes of the show. Is there anyone here tonight who went to an extensive amount of effort to be with us here on this Saturday night? I thought so. And then we had to go and move the show an hour earlier, thank you so much for being flexible. I can strategically plan for a lot of things, but the weather is still somehow out of my control. I’m working on it, but you guys are so amazing. It’s an hour early, it’s an hour early, I expected to see one empty seat, like one person couldn’t make it here in time. I love you so much. You have been, already during this show, what I used to dream about playing for when I was a tiny little child. I want you to know that. So I would also like to say, we have incredible opening acts on the Eras Tour, and they played their heart out for you tonight. Would you please give it up again for the incredible Muna? You and I, we’re about to go on a little adventure together, and it's going to span 17 years of music, and we're going to go on this adventure one era at a time. How does this sound, Cincinnati? And I have this little goal, this little dream in my imagination, where, you see, these songs that we’re going sing together tonight, they may have been written about something that happened to me in my life, but by the time we’re done with this show, any time you hear these songs after this, I want you to think about the night and the memories we made on a gorgeous Saturday night.
