So I read a fanfiction that took place pre-season two so Steve and Nancy were still together, they were having a sleepover and so was Mike and the party. Lucas has a nightmare and crawls into bed with Steve to get some quality babysitter cuddles. Nancy wakes up in the morning and is naturally surprised to find someone else in bed with them, and it got me thinking

they’re at a party and someone drunkenly shouts “SUCK AND BLOW!”

so Billy grabs Steve and pulls him over to the circle forming, grinning as he watches the playing card be passed around mouth to mouth, sucking it from Tina’s mouth and turning to Steve, leaning in to pass it — but instead, he turns his head and blows the card away, pulling Steve in and kissing him instead, ignoring the others who burst into laughter and wolf whistles as he stuffs his tongue into Steve’s mouth

and Steve pushes him away with a red face after a moment, grinning, acting as if he’s not into it and Billy’s so funny and so drunk for pulling that shit, isn’t his best friend funny?

everyone believes it

but after the party, when he’s got Billy in the backseat of his car and they’re making out, there’s no excuse or playing card between them

Billy: Can I knock you down again, so I can lay down with you?

Steve’s life mission is just to keep his boyfriend alive

Shawn tried not to think too hard about his dad and his teacher dating. He knew his family was a little different than the others. Most people had two parents. But he’d never ask for his sire to show up. Never in a million years. He still remembered how bad it got. 

It made him a little wary of Mr. Munson. He didn’t think he’d ever hit his father. But sometimes pain wasn’t physical. Even when Billy hadn’t put his hands on Steve, the yelling had been horrible too. But Steve had been in love. And there had been a time when Billy cared for him. He’d told Shawn so.

Shawn couldn’t believe it. People in love didn’t do that kind of thing. People in love did things like go out on dates, gave each other gifts and scented each other nicely.

Like how Shawn could smell Mr. Munson on his dad. He probably wouldn’t have been able to tell who it was if not by his powers of deduction. They’d been sitting on his bed, his dad reading him a bedtime story. He didn’t bring up the scent, or how it made him feel nice. He just hoped Mr. Munson would stay around a while.
