How do you feel about the Shubble situation? To me personally, you're fanfiction helped me build a different character in mind of Wilbur Soot rather than his actual self (Will Gold). I'd like to ask if you're going to finish your previous fanfictions with Wilbur's character and are you going to write future ones with SBI? I myself (and I'd like to believe other people as well) would understand if you feel it's best to stop, but I hope you finish your work because it's truly amazing...

Hello,

Tbh, I feel pretty crap about the entire thing haha. As a wannabe-author I appreciated the stories William Gold either had a hand in crafting or wholly crafted on his own, and although I never knew him beyond as a fan, I liked the person I thought he was.

So finding out that he mistreated and abused people in his direct vicinity, ruining people’s lives with life-long traumas, was frankly put, horrifying. But as a life-long Harry Potter fan, creators of IPs i dearly love turning out to be horrible in some manner is unfortunately not a new experience.

That said, don’t I intend to abandon my WIPs or the characters. Although I’m definitely taking a break to let everything settle.

Thank you for checking in.

gotta ask since this has been on my mind for months now, can we confirm in OL if ancients can actually go in the sun indefinitely without burning?:D Have a good day!

Yea, but very very few Vampires become ancient enough to not get nuked by prolonged sunshine. Philza and maybe a couple of others meet that standard.

Thank you, you too!

hi! how are you? I have a couple questions about OL if it doesn’t bother you. how will Philza declare war? Will he just attack them or send a message? will other vamps join him in declaring? When Philza says he “hasn’t been this mad since people tried to steal Wilbur from him,” did they try to kill him or kidnap him? Was the previous human-vampire war between all of humanity against the vampires or just the hunters against the vampires? What’s the reasoning behind Philza and Technoblade’s titles?

Ty!

Hihi, I'm doing alright! ^^ My course is being very busy but other than that it's fine lmao.

how will Philza declare war? Will he just attack them or send a message?

This remains to be seen, I'm unsure if OL!Tommy will know much about OL!za's movements, but he'll definitely feel the aftermath of said war declaration.

When Philza says he “hasn’t been this mad since people tried to steal Wilbur from him,” did they try to kill him or kidnap him?

This was mentioned a long time ago so I really don't blame anyone for not remembering, but Tommy mentions in one of the earlier chapters that people were conducting experiments on Changelings in an attempt to understand the turning process. Philza saying that Wilbur was almost stolen is a reference to that. So kidnapping? But it would've lead to unintentional murder since the turning process is so delicate.

Was the previous human-vampire war between all of humanity against the vampires or just the hunters against the vampires?

It's one of those situations that spiraled out of control. The humans and governments involved in the experiments weren't expecting vampires to unite like they did. Bigger Covens like Philza's are a very recent development, prior to the war Covens were more SBI sized. So I wouldn't really call it either of those ahdgsa.

What’s the reasoning behind Philza and Technoblade’s titles?

Their human-given titles or vampire ones? The human titles were given during the war because that's how ruthless they were, while the vampire titles normally just happen as the vampire becomes known.

Thank you for the ask! ^^ I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you.

Recently Paint the Walls and Call it Home, a fic by amazing @h0neyd3w-tea updated. I adore the skrunkliness that Wilbur oozes in the new chapter but the brief scene with Techno grabbed me by the throat and decided not to let go.

I tried painting traditionally, since I got a bit more of glitter paint and it came out pretty okayish haha

Hope you like it :3

Hey!! How are you doing? Just had a question about OL! If Tommy ever escaped how would the sbi find him? In chapter 10, techno said he would be the one to hunt Tommy down, would Phil and wilbur not go after him or would they just wait?

it’s almost been a year but I’ll hang on, please take your time!! This fic is amazing, and I’m excited for the next update!!!

ty!!!

Hello! I’m doing well!

They’d find him by utilizing their many resources ahdhjasd. It’s very difficult for a Changeling to just completely disappear without outside help.

Techno is a bit more brutal upfront and likes the game of the hunt, so Philza is content to let him do as he pleases as long as he gets results.

I’m glad you like it! ^^

THE WAY I FLEW TO READ THE NEW CHAPTER OF PAINT THE WALLS AND CALL IT HOME GODDDD

There is something really weirdly appealing about Wilbur being a pathetic wet cat of a man forced into situations. Amazing, incredible 10/10 so glad you're writing this!!

Ahdhhshs-

I agree. Nothing brings me greater joy than overcooking the noodle man.

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it! <3

Hello again! :)

I was wondering about Tommy being sent to SBI's alley every night as a Hunter. Was that SBI and/or Sam Nook's influence, so they could keep an eye on him & so he wouldn't get hurt on other jobs? Or was the Org just that disorganized & uncaring that they did it themselves, like Tommy supposed? Was just wondering how much influence Sam Nook's spy role had on Tommy, overall.

Thanks, and hope all is good in your corner of the world! :)

Hihi!

SBI’s influence but Nook was the one who poked at the Orgs. documents so that the wrong people wouldn’t notice anything afoot. Although the Orgs. disorganization did play its part.

Hi!!!! How has your week been going? I would like to say that OLPBMS is a masterpiece and is one of my favorite fics of all time! I have a few questions if you dont mind answering.

What would be the worst punishment Tommy could ever get by the SBI? How many vampires and humans are in this fic? Who is in charge of the Hunter Organization? In chapter 11, did any vampires hear the gunshot or the inn-owner, and what were their reactions? In chapter 12, how did Techno know to go look for Tommy? Are all the vampires angry at the organization for tresspassing on their meeting or just the SBI? What is quackity's social status?

I have a ton of more questions but i will spare you them (for now >:) ). Im sorry if im bothering you with these questions. I hope you have a great week\weekend!

Thanks!!! <3

Hello! I’m doing great! I’m flattered to hear that, I’ll try to do your question justice. ^^

I think that depends a lot on the situation. A lot of Tommy’s worst case scenarios aren’t really meant to specifically punish him (like murdering Jack for example). But I’d say the worst theoretical punishment up to date is the bone breaking threat from Techno.

Um, I’d say maybe a little less than the world populace right now? The world OL takes place in is meant to mirror the real world (to a certain degree), except that there was not as much incentive to move to larger cities unless you absolutely had to because of the threat of vampires.

No one is really in charge, the Hunter Organization runs on taxpayers money so the closes thing to a boss would be the government. However, the Org. is corrupted through and through so even though it is a government driven organization no one really knows exactly whats going on internally.

Um, I intended to make it so people heard that something happened but wouldn’t automatically assume it was a gunshot which is why Wilbur was sent to check it out. I think I might’ve fumbled that delivery though.

There’s a tracker in Tommy’s bracelet.

Yeah everyone was pissed. The peace between humans and vampires is very brittle but no one thought the Hunter Organization would fumble ao badly.

Quackity is a his own man, generally. He’s not really part of any Covens and tends to freelance as some kind of expert/informant.

You’re no bother!! ^^ I’m just very slow to answer because I want to give each ask all the focus but thats been difficult lately. Thank you for the Ask!

Hello! I have a few questions. How does Phil find out that Tommy mentioned The Mad Goat’s name and not The Angel of Death’s at the end of chapter 11? When he does find out what is his initial reaction? Was it “I’m not mad I’m just disappointed” or was it “I’m not mad I’m fucking furious.” If he was furious was it because Tommy disobeyed him or is it something deeper?

Thank you so much for your writing. I seriously reread orange light once a month. You’ve been a big inspiration <3

Hi!

SBI definitely grilled the Inn-owner for every piece of information they could get during their interrogation, and with Wilbur there, the Inn-owner wouldn’t be able to lie. (Not that he would since he has no clue about the significance of SBI’s questions anyways)

Ehh, more “I’m not mad, I’m furious” ig? Philza is definitely not impressed that Tommy didn’t even attempt to use his dad’s clout to get out of the situation like he specifically told him earlier that night lol.

Oh gosh lmao, thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

hi!! how are you doing? I have a few questions about OL, If that’s fine.

Was Philza alive since the beginning of the world? (sorry if that’s a dumb question). Will we see more Bench Trio Interactions? If the Inn-Owner did successfully kill Tommy would he get a different fate, if so what would his fate be? Did the Inn-Owner get tortured after shooting Tommy or was it just what Philza said in chapter 13? What is the inspiration for the vampire’s status names (Drottin, Singer, Mad Goat etc.)? What would Jack’s fate be if he was captured?

OL is an amazing fic!! You are really good at portraying emotions in characters (such as Phil because he genuinely scares me).

Ty!!! :D

Hellooo I’m doing well!

Philza was implied to have been turned at some point during the iron age (if my calculations are correct lmao) so while he wasn’t there to see the world begin, he’s definitely seen his fair share of empires’s rise and collapse.

No more benchtrio interactions ^^

Uhh, I’m not sure what kind of fate he’d suffer but it definitely wouldn’t be a nice one. Most likely some version of the ones he’s suffering right now but… tweaked… for the player experience :>

There was definitely an interrogation and he was not treated kindly during it no, but I didn’t really think about the details.

The titles are based on the era the vampire was “turned” and then connected in some way to what they did to earn their status. Wilbur and Schlatt are comparatively young so their status is in plain english, though Wilbur only got one because he’s a) part of SBI and b) because he has an incredibly dangerous power, while Schlatt kinda clawed his way success. Drottin is an old word that roughly translates to “queen”, though in this context it’s meant to imply that Puffy was the leader of a viking tribe.

Jack’s fate would’ve ended in a painful death.

Thank you! I’m glad you like OL, and I’m happy Philza is properly terrifying :D

Ty for the ask!

Heyy! I have some questions about OL if its fine with you.

First of all, how are you? If Philza did start a war, would it be against just the hunters or every single human? If Tommy had died by the bullet, what would the Angel of Death's Coven do to the vampires? Will there ever be more talk of the Vampire Council, metioned in chapter 12, in a future chapter? What does the Vampire Council do and how many people are on it?

I love the characters and the worldbuilding in OL, it is wonderfully written!!!

Ty!

Hello!

I’m doing good! I’m currently driving trains for a living lmao, so a lot has changed. ^^

Philza is actually one of the few vampires who believes that declaring war against all of humanity would be counter productive. So the war he does plan on declaring is very much restricted to the Hunter Organization, who he views to be the most responsible for Tommy’s near death.

If Tommy had died, the entire island would’ve been burnt down to the ground. I’m not sure what the full fall out would be, but I’d say a grieving SBI would be the catalyst to one of the biggest disasters to ever strike the world in this au. I don’t think they’d gun for any specific vampires in that situation. As long as they don’t try to get in the way that is. In other words, it’s a good thing Tommy survived lol.

Most likely not, their inclusion was mainly for world building purposes. They don’t really have an impact on the plot anyways, since Philza kinda does what he wants. Whatever the Council says is at best a strong suggestion in his mind.

The Vampire Council is mainly made up of Coven leaders like Puffy and Sam. Philza both is and isn’t a part of it, and Schlatt is too young in most Coven leader’s eyes to be considered for a seat (though they definitely have close discussions with him). The Council’s job is mostly diplomatic in nature. They don’t necessarily speak on behalf of all the Covens in the area, but they’re the ones the humans would reach out to.

I don’t really have a set number or members in mind. But there’s probably not too many people.

Thank you!! I’d say the characters are my favorite thing to come up with, so I’m very happy that those resonate with people!! ^^ Sorry for the grammatical errors haha, I’m super tired.

Thank you so much for the ask! :D<3

Hello! Just wanted to say i absolutely love your fics and i just re-read paint the walls and call it home and i just have to say you absolutely scratched something very specific in my brain with that one it's just such cheff kiss 🤌🤌 i was wondering if you have an idea how many chapters it will have?? And any recommendations for skrunkly dadbur fics?? They're so good 😩😩 apologies in advance if you've gotten this question before!

Hi hi!

Aasdghda, thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Truthfully, I have no idea how long PtWaCiH will be. I have some scenes I'd like to write out, and a thousand more AUs with roughly the same setting but slightly to the left thats dusting away in my draft folder.

It's been awhile since I've searched for new fics in the fandom so I don't have a lot of recs unfortunately. But I know that PtWaCiH got two "inspired by" works called Sweet smell of Grief and Just In Case.

Thank you for the ask! ^^

Hello! I have a question about OL, if you don't mind.

How would Wilbur react to Techno's threat about breaking Tommy's legs? I couldn't imagine him allowing that to happen, especially with how overprotective Wil is over Tommy.

Hello!

Wilbur wouldn't take it as bad as you might think ahjsdgha. It's important to remember that covens aren't typical family units. They have and adhere to strict pecking orders. As the oldest and only "adult" brother, Techno has more authority over Tommy and Wilbur than Wilbur has over Tommy, and so it'd have to be something very very harsh for Wilbur to even consider meddling.

Broken legs would be an incredibly horrible and violent act on a human, but for a vampire it's much more negligible in terms of harshness.

It might not be super obvious in OL because of the narration, but bodily harm and violence aren't as... bad in the vampire society. It takes a lot to kill a vampire, and after they settle somewhat into adulthood, the pain of for example, momentarily losing your head, is more like a more painful slap to the face. Just more theatrical.

(Please don't do the vampire equivalent of slapping your subordinates in the face unless you are OL!Philza)

That being said, Wilbur's reaction to the event would probably not be particularly extreme depending on Tommy's reaction. If Tommy is upset in a "I just got scolded by big bro Techno" he'd probably be more teasing than comforting. But if Tommy would show actual signs of genuine distress like he did in the latest chapter when he fled to the bathroom, Wilbur would probably try to be much more comforting until Techno or Philza would arrive to take over.

Hope that answers your question! Thank you for the ask!
