I love how the idea of a population that doesn’t starve/suffer is considered radical by out-of-touch Elitists, but illegally invading a sovereign country based on a lie (Iraq), spending trillions of dollars on said war, killing nearly a million civilians, losing nearly 5000 soldiers, planting the seeds for the rise of ISIS, nearly getting into war with Iran by killing their top General etc. is perfectly mainstream. Funny thing is that what’s considered “radical left” by the media is more-or-less mainstream amongst the American population (e.g. ending the wars, medicare-for-all, taxing the ultra-rich etc.). What an upside-down world we live in...

Things are looking grim in the current chapter for our heroes, but I really hope Vegeta gets the win, this time!! After nearly 3 decades, our guy’s earned it!!

Yo Biden just announced an infrastructure devolopment/clean energy/environmental justice plan and it's honesty pretty fucking amazing and much more ambitious than I ever would have expected from him, goddamn. He's trying to Eisenhower/New Deal our way out of the economic collapse.
Some notable points addressed by this plan:
- Expanding American railway systems
- Fixing the crumbling roads, bridges, dams, etc. that haven't been kept up
- Capping abandoned oil wells
- Undoing Trump's financial bailout policies for unclean energy companies
- Reinvesting in American-made automotive companies
- Getting America to 100% clean energy by 2035
- Fixing air, water, and ground pollution issues that disproportionately affect poc
- Getting justice for victims of environmental racism
- Reinstating a bunch of environmental and medical jobs Trump had cut
- Getting the US back on the Paris Agreement/Climate Accord

For those who were wondering what the point of voting for a leftist candidate was, if the leftist didn’t win—this is it. Biden is trending leftward. That’s what we want him to do. He wouldn’t be doing it if the left hadn’t shown itself to be a real force.
I know that the work is never done and all that, but I think we can count this one as a win.

I don’t like the guy, and I doubt if most of this would actually get done, but please, it’s better than the guy actively dismantling anything good we have and pushing us backwards
even if you’re in a state that swings dem and you think your vote doesn’t matter, it does. the popular vote tally means something even if the system is broken. Hillary got millions more votes and that was the voice of the people. vote even just to add to the tally of people against Trump because you know the numbers will hurt his vanity
And for all the “lesser of two evils” people out there who think a Biden victory means rewarding the Democratic party’s ongoing rejection of the left wing of the party, reminder that the alternative, GREATER of two evils, is THIS:
A new policy change to prevent trans women from accessing homeless shelters is teaching people how to police gender presentation and physical features just so the country can legalize a new way to get away with killing us.
This is the shit we would have four more years of if Biden loses.
Shelter workers may use “factors such as height, the presence (but not the absence) of facial hair, the presence of an Adam’s apple, and other physical characteristics which, when considered together, are indicative of a person’s biological sex,” the rule says.
If a homeless person appears too transgender for a homeless shelter, the shelter is allowed to ask them for proof of “biological sex.”
Biden wasn’t even my fifth choice in the primaries. But we have to focus on the general now. There are only two possible outcomes this November. We’ve seen how one of them turned out for us, and we all know damn well it’s only getting worse, and getting worse faster. Do not forget that the other outcome is not just about Biden; there’s an entire Democratic platform that comes in with him, along with a complete 180 in White House staff, federal appointments, judicial confirmations, etc. And the judicial confirmations ALONE are a huge deal. If you are somehow NOT convinced that Biden would be better for us than Trump, I need you to understand the existential threat of these words:
Losing Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat to another Brett Kavanaugh.
Do NOT let your ideological purity put us through THAT.
Anything lesser than the evil we have now is a rejection of how far right the Overton Window has been dragged the last few years. Don’t forget how much we stand to lose if we don’t live to fight another day.
I respect the overall idea, but at the same time let’s not forget to ask why the Overton Window has dragged so much. It’s because the Democratic Establishment repeatedly cave in to Republicans. Nancy Pelosi, old fossil that she is, voted for all of Trump’s bloated military budgets and his border wall, at a time when 18% of Americans live below the poverty line and infrastructure is crumbling all over the country. And this may sound controversial, given how everyone idolizes Barack Obama, but let’s not forget that he refused to prosecute the people responsible for illegal torture in the Bush administration (torture included water-boarding, false burials, beatings, forced rectal feeding etc.). This set a precedent for Republicans that they can get away with anything. What’s the result? The current head of the CIA (Gina Haspel) was one of the leading figures in Bush’s illegal torture program. Let’s also not forget Joe Biden’s record. He voted for the Iraq war (which cost trillions of dollars and millions of lives), voted for the patriot act (which resulted in unconstitutional spying on US citizens) and authored the Crime Bill (which got thousands of innocent African-Americans locked up and separated from their families). Also, the DNC just outright rejected “Medicare-for-all”, at a time when there’s a freaking pandemic plaguing the country and 70 000 new COVID cases every goddamn day. TLDR: Vote for the lesser of two evils if you must, but at the same time, be smart enough to recognize that it’s still, in fact, evil and that a lot of work must be done along the way, to fix this evil. p.s. If you’re living in California’s 12th congressional district, it’d be a great idea to get corrupt Pelosi out of there, by voting for Shahid Buttar, i.e. an actual force of resistance against the Republican establishment, as opposed to fake resistance.

Curious this event is a reference to Frieza’s generals in dragon ball z, in dragon ball super in one of the first episodes, Vegeta falls into a bush and he ends up with two fruits stuck in his hair. The green fruit on the left is a durian, while the orange fruit is a grapefruit, called Zabon in Japan, which makes a great reference to Zarbon and Dodoria
I didn’t know about this reference but I found it very funny because even if Vegeta killed them in the past he can’t get rid of them in the present XD

Is everything ok you have been gone so long
Thank you for checking on me. I have been on a roller coaster the last month. It has been the highest highs and lowest lows.
The best news: my boyfriend and I purchased our first HOME this week!! Yes, home! The cutest, most adorable house that is so perfect for us. We were discouraged for so long because every house we liked didn’t pan out, but God answered our prayers this week and we couldn’t be happier. We also have talked much more about wedding plans lately :) (still waiting on my official proposal, but I feel it coming very soon :)). My 29th birthday is fast approaching and he has planned a special trip for us, which is MUCH needed. Turning 29 also got me like, woah - my last year in my 20’s; where the heck has the time gone?!
The bad news: My boyfriend is in the military and doing annual training for the next few weeks, and this is the longest we have ever been apart. It is much harder than I thought.
I also have been battling health problems I didn’t see coming. I have hypothyroidism and it has been kicking my ass. My doctor has not really done much and I’m still having to have all these tests done and it is nerve racking. I have never been so weak, so low energy, so discouraged, having the most painful periods of my life, sensitivity to cold (even at the freakin beach y’all), I ache like never before, throw up constantly because my body is rejecting food I use to eat all the time, and my depression has come back full force. Those of you that have been with me a long time know how hard my battle with depression has been. My boyfriend coming into my life has been the light and joy I needed, but times like this when he is away, and doesn’t get to talk that much since he has shitty service where he’s at has made this harder.
My job, which used to be my safe haven, has become a chaotic shitshow that I can’t wait to leave at the end of every day, especially today which is the worst day I have ever had in this job title. I can’t quit or really afford to not have it while my boyfriend and I are having to pay a mortgage, buy furniture, pay our bills, etc. I am so thankful at this crazy time in the world I have a job, but it is just insane how much it’s changed these last few months with new management.
My best friend, whom this past month I took her to the beach with me WITH NO EXPENSES on her part and turned her nose up at everything and told me she hates the beach (she literally told me this as we were standing in the ocean and I was like, uh, ya could’ve told me this sooner?!?!). THEN when I thought she would be happy for me and my boyfriend finding our first home, not only was she not happy, she told me it’s a ‘sin’ to live together before marriage and that God will not bless a sin, meaning me and my boyfriend would break up, or something terrible like that. I have never hidden the fact that I am a devout Christian, even though I am more liberal with my views. But to have someone I thought would support and be there for me, the person I was going to have as my maid of honor someday, tell me God is “mad” at me, even though I witnessed second by second God’s amazing love and guidance in this process of buying this house, has just really hurt me on a deep level.
I also was told I may have a very difficult time getting pregnant. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has crushed me like that. I have known my entire life I was meant to be a mom. And I’m having to do whatever I can at this point while I’m still a bit of a spring chicken to make sure I am in the best health I can be so I can make my man the super adorbs dad he more than deserves to be (and so I can be the mom I have always dreamed of. As Sailor Moon’s Earth mama said in an episode I had on VHS: ‘my dream is to be the best mom in the world!’ :D).
This has literally all happened the past 30 days. It has been exciting, but then incredibly overwhelming. The depression rearing its ugly head and telling me nothing will work out doesn’t help.
I’m sorry this was so long…I really don’t have anyone to vent to at this moment. I know you all care about me and have always, ALWAYS lifted my spirits.
Prayers that August will be an amazing, healthy and blessed month for us all. ❤️

Y’all are literally the kindest souls ever. Thank you sweetie ❤️ Since it’s almost midnight where I’m at it’s now technically 14 days til he comes back. 😄 I got to talk to him on the phone for 2 hours today; I had some startling test results come in today, but I have even more tests and X-rays to do in the coming week 😢 I’m just ready to feel better.
Thank you again for your kindness; y’all checking on me has truly lifted my spirits more than you know. And yes, I’ve got more Vegebul coming. I truly didn’t expect anyone to miss my writing…I’m just a goofy dork 😅 the fact that my writing actually means something to others just makes me so darn happy. So yes, I will have more very soon. 🥰
