Well for one, I love their music and they are one of the few bands I can say has never put out a bad song, even their cover songs are excellent. Another reason is because I love theatrics and the detail that goes into their shows and costumes is phenomenal, all of the musicians are very talented and have great stage presence. Even if you don’t like Ghost, it’s hard to not like them live (if it’s an indoor venue). The way they have brought so many different people together with their music, (despite the fact their music is based on satanism and the occult) makes me very happy and I love interacting with people in the Ghost community.A lot of people shit on them and I’m not sure why, they make heavy music, have great lyrics and great merch. Some people dislike them because of how mainstream they have become, but honestly their main goal from the beginning has been to reach as many people as possible with their Devil music. Personally I think it’s great that they are bringing more attention to heavy metal because pretty much all popular music is garbage nowadays. Bands change and evolve all the time, and even though we are out of the creepy Papa I/Papa II era, they are still putting out great music. They have been far more successful than any of us who have been into them since their early days could have imagined. They used to be just some weird band from Sweden and now they’ve won a Grammy. I’m very proud of their accomplishments and I can’t wait to see what they do next.

Thank you, I feel like so many people shit on them because they don’t fit the typical metal band mold or because hating them gets you kvlt points but everything they’ve released has been interesting and unique. Each of their songs is different and I agree that they haven’t put out one bad song.

The funny thing about late night panic attacks is that they either keep me up all night with palpitations and cold sweats, or they drain me and put me to sleep. 

I have been doing absolutely horrible as of lately, especially over the past week. I have no appetite. I have no motivation. I haven’t been to the gym since last week. I feel like vomiting and crying all the time. While I have worked on some art over the last few days and had some family time with my mom and sister since they’re both off this week, I have spent a considerable amount of time in bed binging Youtube videos because it’s the only distraction I have from this. 

I took my first dose of Lexapro today- 1/4 of a pill which seems laughable but thankfully my new psychiatrist isn’t taking chances after how bad my reaction was to Zoloft. I have to gradually build up to a full dose. 

I know I haven’t been getting too personal lately but right now it’s 3 AM and there’s no one to talk to and it’s easier to unload in an non-personal way to (mostly) strangers than start bombarding people with my problems. Plus I really don’t want to even talk about some of the specific issues I’m dealing with. So this is easier. For now. Why do I still have this blog...
