I was doing my frikkin’ Atma Book hunts when Adair Hawke messaged me. He seemed friendly and chatty at first, and I wasn’t against some non-sexual roleplay, except I was busy at the moment. The more he talked, the more I felt the only thing he was interested in was ERP, so I told him point blank that Sahja doesn’t ICly sleep around.

Then he got CREEPY, talking about my RL boyfriend? And called him pathetic? Excuse me?!

I have no idea who this guy is, or who he thought I was. But I was bothered enough to raid all of my social Linkshells to ask if anyone knew him. My linkshell #6 gave me an answer I really didn’t want to hear… and my linkshell #1 only made the pit in my stomach grow even bigger at the mention of him being a sexual predator. Because… It’s true.

I can’t encourage people enough to blacklist this person. If someone says “No” that should be the end of it. Going into stalker-esque lengths to make them feel UNSAFE is something I will not tolerate.

As of the time of posting this signal boost this: is his lodestone profile. He is currently not in a Free Company but it is speculated he’s an alternate character. If you have any information on this guy, please share. No one deserves to be harassed or manipulated into ERP.

This guy is disgusting. Do not be afraid to blacklist him or report him for harassment if he contacts you for unsolicited ERP (or for any other reason that’s within ToS filing harassment.) Stay safe folks.

Adair Hawke is the alt of Dante Thalmos, also on Balmung. He is currently affiliated with the free company New Conglomerate «NC», who have a house in Ward 6 of the Goblet.

Several Riskbreakers and I roleplayed with Dante Thalmos several months ago. There was no ERP, but the session didn’t go well. He later gave out his alt Adair to one of our members, but none of us have interacted with him since.

So far as I know, he does not use Tumblr; I asked him if he had one when we interacted, and he expressed disdain for the site and its users.

Please stay safe, everyone, especially if you’re a woman or are playing a female character. Don’t be afraid to block and/or report.

1. Minor alteration between the dates 2. Models are both Hyurs. Looking closely, the only change I can find really is the added white highlights on the Mateus version. Everything else looks... peculiarly similar. 3. Both are very likely boosted alts for bypassing certain areas/getting into housing. 4. Mateus version is at GC 2nd Lt, so likely has apartment. Balmung version has *no* GC ranking listed as of writing this.

If this is a coincidence, then I apologize to the Carmine Ward on Mateus now. If it isn’t though? What a weird day, and hello Erin 2.0. Someone may want to look into that, just in case, because if you’re trying to recreate a character on a new server... you tend to not change many details.

I completely agree, and nothing wrong with enjoying the outfits, just means if you’re wanting to err on caution there’s always when you’re with friends and FC.

This is a shame. I own some of this stuff or it was bought for me as gifts. I didn’t care when people removed their underwear or did stuff to the physical appearance of their characters bodies. I do mind a mod where for all I know my characters’ clothes have been modded to just not be there at all or be much skimpier than I want. Guess I’m avoiding some more gear now!

This is seriously disgusting that people are doing this. A lot of these things, especially on the girls list are some of my favorite outfits. Something needs to be done about this.

I’m all for SFW mods, or NSFW mods that don’t fuck with regular gear sets or clothing (IE you need to be ‘naked’ for them to work) but THIS!?!? This is is so far beyond that.

I realize that they are just pixels, but I am highly uncomfortable with the thought that there could be people out there seeing my characters run around naked on their screen (or with dicks out, or whatever) and getting their jollies off.

Who’s to say a naked body is inherently sexual?   So long as the modder isn’t harassing you with screenshots of your character, who cares what they’re doing to their client?   Most of us are modding our clients to dress up our characters, not yours. Most of us are modding our clients with things we want to see on our characters because we like to have the choice- just like you have the choice to not install the mods, or pick your glamours. Modding, at the end of the day, is a secondary personal form of glamouring our characters.  We’re envisioning our characters how we want to see them.  I made that astrologian top thats going around, the translucent one because I wanted something cute, and more summery for the upcoming season. The top doesn’t expose breasts or more skin than a belly, and it’s just a design choice I wanted.  I also made a version of the nezha top without the shirt attached, so it’s breasts peeking from the jacket. No nipples, just breasts.  Why? Because as a woman, I want the option to dress my character in something lewder, and more open than SE provides because they’re… not that open about sexuality or the human body. I like having the option to toe the line, be naked, or be cute.   And at the end of the day, modding is about providing choices to people, so everyone can have options to be futanari, transboys, femboys, flatty girls, or curvier girls with bit booties.  It’s to provide people with the option to have more or less scales, to be more or less lewd, and to enjoy themselves.

I’m sorry if someone has harassed you with their modded client, forcing your character to be depicted in some lascivious manner- that is not right in any non-consensual manner, however I don’t think you should be attacking NSFW mods, or SFW mods.  Be upset at the jackasses misusing a tool, not the tool itself.  If you’re upset with mods, I think it might be worth blocking tags related to modding, and then letting it go. Stop thinking about it– It’s not “get over it,” but rather, release yourself from being upset and hurt over something you cannot control, and find something you can control. Don’t waste your precious time and energy being mad, hurt, anxious or scared about your character.  Put that energy somewhere you can enjoy yourself. You will never know what mods someone is using, you will never know if someone is photoshopping your character to be a boy/girl/naked.  You don’t know if next Monday, it’s going to rain. And that’s okay. Just because someone uses something in the wrong manner to harass you doesn’t mean that tool is inherently wrong.  It’s the person who’s being abusive.

Who cares? Well, uh, the people who… care… do?? And who really gives a shit if the nudity is “inherently” sexual or not? Honestly, why are people so up in arms about others not wanting their characters to be seen naked? Why does it make a margin of difference in your life if someone wants to avoid a certain piece of gear unless you are trying to see their character naked? No one here is even saying anything bad about mods or people who use them, not even NSFW ones, they’re just spreading awareness for people who want to avoid NSFW mods potentially being applied to their character models. No judgments have been passed. Why do y’all have to go get so defensive and argue against it? Why is avoiding equipping gear that has NSFW mods attached somehow a less logical solution than blocking modding tags, as if everyone tags their posts and as if people’s problems are with seeing other people’s mod and not their concerns about what mods are being applied to their own characters? There’s no big secret crusade happening against modders. You all are swinging at ghosts and making a fuss about people concerned with how others might see their avatars when it should have no bearing on you at all. Personally, I’m not going to go out of the way from my normal behavior to avoid how others might see my character on their client, I’m not going to fret over it or lose sleep over someone seeing my character’s breasts, but some people are more upset by it than I am, and that’s perfectly okay. There is literally no point to trying to say those feelings aren’t valid and trying to argue them away. People have different experiences, different values, different viewpoints. Why are you getting defensive about people protecting themselves in the most absolutely unobtrusive, inoffensive way possible? You’re arguing against a side that doesn’t exist, or at the very least, one that has nothing to do with this post chain and no presence on it.

Welp, better work on making the newest mogstation item see through too. Conversely, you can use said items here to photobomb known modder's screenshots. To each their own.
