Because it’s a thing I feel need to be stated:

Starlight doesn’t know a thing about sexuality/gender and all that jazz. She loves rainbow-colors and uses rainbow-colored flags or buttons or basically anything she can get, and she would not hesitate to wear or carry things that said something about pride (or being yourself or whatever else might be said on those things) on it while being as colorful either, but she has zero idea what it connects to. All that it is for her is great-looking, and if there’s something written on it she would most likely take it as a kind-of general statement.

Was that a doll lying there? Anya blinked. If it was lying on the ground, that meant someone lost it. And if she returned the doll to its owner… Anya was seeing stars!

This was for the sake of the mission, she told herself as she moved closer to pick up the doll. Why was it dressed so funny?

Was this an alien doll?!

Blackfire woke up when she felt herself being moved. She felt strange, so stiff and like her body was heavy against her attempts at moving... was she numbed and in some form of captivity? No, that wasn't it, this was a different feeling.

Once she was awake enough to take note of her surroundings, Blackfire - still unable to move herself - looked right into the face of... a child? But why was she so large? And then, it returned to her what she had been working on. Right. Why it had happened to her now when that very much wasn't the plan was something to work out, but for now, at least Blackfire realized that she was a doll. A doll that this random child seemed to have found.

Unwilling to be doomed to this until, like, the effect wore off or someone ended this or however it was supposed to end, Blackfire tried hard to move despite it feeling like an impossible attempt. Now, of course, if she does manage to move, that might be no help to her situation at all since a child might just think she's an animated doll or something, but she had to try to do something to get out of this.

"Of course I want you in it!" she assured, smiling. "Fulcrum isn't the only hero here, you know, and if it weren't for you he'd probably be stuck up there for hours."

Fulcrum groaned quietly, a verbal grimace, at the thought of being stuck hanging there for so long.

"Anyways," she turned and held her phone out, her screen facing them so they could see themselves in the camera. "Everyone get in the shot and say cheeeeese-"

Fulcrum took care to stand a little behind them, so his wings wouldn't take their space, and held a hand up in a peace sign as he leaned in for the photo.

Smiling as she stood in the range for the photo, Lightning was rather excited about it, even if she wasn't doing any poses or anything, not having considered how she would pose for photos. This was her first time of someone wanting to take a picture of her like this! Okay, maybe that was partly her own fault too, since she never stayed around after helping with some situation and instead always just immediately continued on to find the next thing to do, but - it was still really cool to have this now, either way.

"This is cool! Thanks!" Lightning said after the picture was taken, then immediately frowning to herself briefly. Why was she thanking her? She shouldn't be saying thanks for being in a photo. Ugh.

Usually the boy would prefer being outside, inventing and creating rather than being stuck inside playing a game but there was nothing quite like a fantasy world to get the imagination flowing. The last time the boy and his friends had forgone their usual activities to play games they had been quite sick but that one day had created a slew of new ideas for the group. Phineas expected this time would be no different.

"Well, it's not not unusual. Video games are a top competitor in a lot of fields these days, most companies have their hands in them in some way. They've gotten pretty advanced as the years have gone by, and people still love them." Some people made it their whole life in fact, but Phineas liked to think that he and his friends had a good balance with them.

Smiling, the boy offered his free hand to the other in greeting. "I'm Phineas, and it's nice to meet you. Wildfire's a pretty cool name."

'Not not' was rather confusing even with his translator being active - or perhaps because of it, perhaps without it it would even be easier to understand - but he nodded along nonetheless. It made sense that they were popular if they were so good. He might still not get the idea of standing in line so long for something, but maybe he simply wasn't the type of person for that.

"I have tried one before! I understand that they are liked." Wildfire doubted he would ever go as far as to say he would understand why people were really that obsessed or delighted about certain things about video games like he had seen Beast Boy and Cyborg be, but he didn't need to understand it that deeply. "Thank you! I like the name Phineas, as well." Certainly one he hadn't heard before.

I wrote this into the tags of a reply already, but, taking pictures with Lightning always ends with Lightning being blurry on them. Due to being a speedster, even in the short moment of a flash and the image being taken with that, she has more movement than 'normal' people would, and even if she tries to stay in pose, it tends to be too much for a picture to be sharp.
