((Hi guys! Sorry for the hiatus. I just settled in after moving, and LAI has been school crazy. LAI is still really busy, and I have some of my own things I need to do, but I’ll try and answer some asks in the mean time. Thanks again to everyone that has followed us, we really appreciate it!))

i want to ask a friend to do a blog with me but they can draw a lot better and i want to know does that get frustrating?
((;; okay so. This is going to sound hokey as hell, but like as long as you’re having fun, that stuff shouldn’t really matter. LAI and I made this blog for fun, and so we could just generally practice drawing. And like hey, these sort of blogs are fun and they are great practice because they give you a reason to draw. I’m an art teacher so it’s sort of typical for me to say something like this, but your art is special and great in its own way, just like your friends. Additionally, everyone is good at different things and it’s really easy to see your friends art and like look at your own then feel discouraged. I can guarantee though that your friend does the same thing with their own art. Even for instance looking at the blog, we’re both responsible for a lot of aspects. The desk top version of our blog, LAI figures out how to make it look like an old windows theme and edited the HTML so it could play music. Meanwhile I worked on making a mushroom pixel background, and then eventually I took Lai’s original design for the icon and created a pixel version of that too. Very few things on this blog are single person influenced because we are a team. My last thing to say is that if you personally aren’t satisfied with your art or think it could be better, again, ask blogs are great opportunities for practice. LAI and I have had plenty of single person ask blogs before making one to share.
We made this ask blog because we’re friends and we really like the characters. Additionally, it’s really fun being able to brain storm or come up with ideas. It’s a fun experience that we share together, and something like thinking that one person is better than the other never even like comes to mind? We just like to draw Cioccolata and Mel in this Au, just like we’d be doing anything else with each other. Honestly if we were running this blog we’d be doing about the same things we’re doing right now: Drawing very cringe memes for each other, Talk about anime and manga that people haven’t talked about in the past five to ten years, and like role play from again the slightly obscure anime and manga. Basically what I’m saying like, the blog is just another outlet that we have entertaining moments with each other and that’s the most important part at the end of the day.))
