9. Mixed Messages - I haven't read Attachments so I'm not as attached (haha) to the characters as I probably should've been to appreciate it

8. The Prince and the Troll - I think I'm gonna need to reread this a few more times before I fully understand it but I liked the parts about the road killing everything but being the last thing to die like wow go off

7. If the Fates Allow - Reagan RETURNS!! I hope Cath and Levi read Simon Snow to their 3 kids and 50 Bison.

6. Midnights - Noel is adorable I love him and also I'm a Swiftie so of course I liked this one

5. Winter Songs for Summer - listening to the same song over and over is a MOOD and the CDs were so cute I need a copy of the track list ASAP

4. The Snow Ball - the dialogue and pacing of this one made me get so invested in it in a way I can't quite describe. Also we stan Judy Garland.

3. Kindred Spirits - I've read this one before but the ending is still so funny to me. Also it's Star Wars what more could you want?

2. In Waiting - oh my GOSH this was so so interesting and creative! I think this is the one that I'm gonna be thinking about the most post-read

Here's an extract from Love Story (Simon's version):

I try a spell now. “Teach the torches to burn bright!” The end of my wand glows, illuminating Baz for a second before it fades.

We sit in silence for a moment, watching the sun grow lower in the window above where we’re sitting, our shadows growing longer.

“Do you think it was real?” Baz says. His eyes are closed and his head is tipped back against the rough stone.

“Huh?”

“Do you think Romeo and Juliet were really in love?” His voice sounds low, strung out.

“Nah,” I reply. “I mean, the whole torches thing makes it seem like he just likes her for her looks, you know? Plus he moved on from Rosaline pretty quickly-.”

“But what if they were?”

After over a year, I’m FINALLY returning to fic writing! My new series of mini-fics will be titled Counting Down To Midnight! To celebrate Taylor Swift’s new album, I’ll be releasing 12 fics, each based on a Taylor Swift song (with some Carry On flair thrown in, of course).
