As promised, this is my final history project, a criticism of Ninjago!!!! Including your favorite terms, orientalism, the white savior trope, white saviorism, and tokenism!

I worked really hard on this website but here is my perspective, as an Asian-American on the problems with Ninjago and the real life impact it has. So anyway, if you disagree with any of the following statements, please go get educated!:

- Ninjago is racist

- Ninjago disrespects east asian cultures

- Ninjago denies opportunity to POC while profiting on a commodification of their culture

- Ninjago’s portrayal of asia is incredibly harmful

at one point when i was a really young kid i remember i didn't understand that the gap of time between jesus's birth and jesus's death was like,,, years, bc Christmas and Easter are a couple of months apart, so i remember rationalizing that god must have made jesus grow up super rapidly so he could do all that miracle stuff and still get executed on schedule.
