Baby Daze
Soft. Baby. ๐ฅบ
โOkay, okay, okay, okay.โ Bucky mumbled to himself erratically.
Bouncing baby you in his arms soothingly, he tried his best to gather his thoughts. The baby in his arms was indeed you. Fact. HYDRA released a chemical that turned you into a baby. Fact. Bruce and Tony have a guaranteed solution to turn you back. Fact. All that needed to be done was the creation of the reversal chemical. Until then, all Bucky had to do was keep baby you alive.
โItโs okay, baby. Everything is okay. Weโre going to be alright, okay sugar?โ Bucky cooed to you, kissing your forehead.
Luckily for him, you were seemingly oblivious to the whole situation and were stress free. Cool as a cucumber.
โBaby.โ You repeated, gripping Buckyโs finger.
He gazed at you lovingly with his soft baby blues.
โYouโre baby, sweet girl.โ Bucky crooned. โMy sweet, sweet girl.โ
You giggled heartily, the sound all too familiar to your boyfriend. Baby you had the same giggle as normal you; light, contagious, and heart warming. Like chiming bells.
โWell, we may have found the son of a bitch responsible for turning Y/N into Baby Y/N.โ Steve announced, dragging a cuffed HYDRA doctor through the compound into the interrogation levels.
Baby you shifted your eyes to the unhinged doctor. They began to water as your bottom lip quivered. The dam within you bursted into a million pieces. Clutching Buckyโs shirt in your tiny fists, you buried your chubby little face into his chest and began to wail.
Bucky held you securely to him, rocking you soothingingly as he glared at the man before him with pure unfiltered rage. He clenched and unclenched his jaw.
โWe definitely found that son of a bitch.โ He growled lowly.
He leaned down and began to coo sweet nothings to you, his heart melting into a puddle of mush as your eyes began to droop.
โLove you, Boinky.โ You sighed dreamily, your small voice laced with sleep.
โLove you, babydoll.โ He whispered back.
Another thing became absolutely crystal clear to Bucky Barnes. As soon as his girl was down for a nap, that HYDRA agent was fucked. Fact.
