"This has been a bit of a tradition on the Eras Tour. I really wanted to see if I could challenge myself to perform song that I either haven’t ever performed live, or have never done acoustic, and so we’ve got two of those tonight. You know, last week was a really, really important week, because I don’t know if I’ve ever told you this, but I’m on a quest to reclaim my music. And this is just one of the ways in which you have really surprised and delighted me. I never expected for you to get onboard with it the way I have, and for you to be as passionate about it as I am. I just wanted to say that what you guys did with the 1989 (Taylor’s Version). You have no idea. And I know there are a lot of people that watch the acoustic set from all different parts of the world, which is absolutely an honor, and so anyone, anywhere who is listening to this right now, thank you so much for supporting my version of 1989. It’s just, it’s just—you know, I really knew I needed to get it right. 1989 is such an important album in my life, and so for you to have embraced it the way that you did, it had the biggest debut sales week of my entire career, ever. I’m so blown away, and you did something else that is absolutely beyond my comprehension, which his that a song that I wrote for 1989 that didn’t make the album, you guys got that song to go number one on the Hot 100."

"You have no idea how that makes me feel when you do that, when you make that much noise, when you welcome us to a place that’s new for us, like I’m just so happy to see you. I’m so happy to be hanging out with you tonight. Had a sort of crazy day yesterday, because I started off my morning by getting the extraordinary news that because of you, and because of the way that you have supported my album Midnights, it just got nominated for six Grammys! See that’s just, you’re the best, you continue to be the best. You’re the only reason anything like that ever happens in my life, and so I was like—wow guys. I love it when you ‘Ole, ole, ole.’ I really do love it. So that was how my morning started off, right? So you get great news in the morning. And then, and I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m about to go out and play the craziest, best show ever, because I was like, ‘We’re celebrating tonight, right?’’ So this was last night. I was like, ‘We are celebrating tonight!’ I’m like so excited to get on that stage. And then I get a call from my management, and they had to explain to me that it was not, you know, we’ve been expecting a rain show, but they said, ‘It’s way worse than we thought. The weather is out of control. It is absolutely unsafe. It’s torrential rains, it’s lightning, it’s thunderstorms,’ and we absolutely could not physically put on a show, and we couldn’t put you in that position. We just, we had to postpone the show to Sunday. So if any of you have any friends that were going to come to the show last night, just tell them how heartbroken I was to not be able to play for them, and I’m so excited to see them Sunday, and I hope that they can make it back. But that’s just tomorrow, you know? I get to see everybody that I was going to see last night tomorrow, and I’m really, really excited about that, because I just live to play shows for you. It’s my whole personality, is getting to write songs, and then get on a stage, and sing them with you. And it really blows my mind that maybe we grew up in different parts of the world, but I think if we’re all here tonight singing the same words, and dancing together, and feeling the way that we’re all feeling, that means that we probably all went through similar things and learned similar lessons, and that makes me so happy to be in Argentina, and being with such a special crowd. And so we’re going era by era, album by album, and these are moments from my life we’re reliving, and right now we are currently in the evermore era. And evermore was the second album that I made in the pandemic, and I didn’t really know what the future would be for live music, and so every time I’m up on this stage, I feel extra lucky that I get to sing champagne problems with you."

"What an honor and a treat it is to get to say these words to you tonight: Buenos Aires, bienvenidos al Eras Tour! You know I feel like the luckiest girl in the world tonight, because this is my first trip to Argentina—never even been before—and the way you have chosen to welcome me is just, 68,000 gorgeous people singing and dancing along. I am being serious right now: I love you so much! And we’re very, very lucky because we have incredible opening acts on the Eras Tour, we really, really do. You started out the evening, and I’d like you to make some more noise, again, for an artist who absolutely killed it. Give it up again for Louta! And then I’m very fortunate to say we have an artist on this tour who is a friend of mine, and also one of my favorite singer-songwriters right now. I love getting to hear her music before I go onstage every single night, so will you give it up again for the brilliant, the beautiful Sabrina Carpenter! Alright, so I know we just met, but we’re about to go on a grand adventure together. That adventure is going to span 17 years of music, and it’s going to be one era at a time! How does that sound to you, Buenos Aires? Alright, so I do have a little goal in mind for this. So these are songs I may have written about my life—some of them are imaginary, some of them are true stories—and maybe you think about that when you hear these songs now. But after tonight when you hear this music out in the word, I want you to think of the memories we made tonight at this beautiful sold-out stadium in Buenos Aires. I’ll be your host, my name is Taylor, thank you for traveling with us on the Eras Tour!"
