LGBTVDB is promoting the hashtag all month for pride month and there is a trend scheduled today at 4pm. However, it can be used through out the month.

This isn’t just a lexa/clexakru thing, it is an lgbtvdb thing. This is about explaining to the world why having characters that you feel represented by in the media is necessary. Its about explaining why its damaging when harmful tropes are used, how code 307s make you feel, or how you feel when baited by a show runner. Talk about whatever you want. About how its not just a fictional character.  You can talk about why you think a certain character is good rep or not good rep. You can talk about lexa, root, swan queen, emision, etc. The important part is to start the conversation and keep it going.  

A couple notes:

1. There are two other ways to participate. The website now has a space for the #WhyItMatters Campaign under “Projects”. So you can submit directly to the website. Or you can submit or write anonymously through the tumblr set up for the campaign http://lgbtvdb-why-it-matters.tumblr.com

2. Shout out to @ishipbadasschicks who secured a long list of domain names one of which is lgbtvdb.com so if you need a shorter domain to tweet or talk about the site you can use that too.
