↘ It was a very sunny day and it was also the first day of spring.

↘ At Kaijou High every year, there was a student fair at this time; you could see the entire building, gym and cafeteria, find out what lessons are taking place here, you could listen to a concert of talented kids, eat something warm, and have a good time enjoying a delicious dessert. There were also talent shows and I don’t mean singing or dancing (it was at the mentioned concert). These were mainly sports, artistic and scientific (e.g. chemical or physical) shows.

↘ It was a day off from lessons, but obligatory in school and everyone had to do something; like decorate the rooms, bake cupcakes or make apples in caramel, put on your sports outfit, recite a poem or distribute candies and encourage kids to choose this High School.

↘ Kise and his team obviously had to tell about the basketball and play a short 5v5 game.

↘ Then it was time for the school volleyball team, people attending pool classes, a few girls who love horse riding, and two boys who are interested in chess.

↘ Next, it was time for sports related to combat, self-defense and demonstrations of strength; someone talked about fencing, someone talked about boxing, someone talked about capoeira, and someone else about karate. At the very end, there was aikido about which – to Ryouta’s surprise – YOU started talking.

↘ You were wearing your black and white outfit and your hair was tied in a tight ponytail. Next to you was your a year younger friend, from another school, who, like you, had been training martial arts at the same Aikido school for years. She had the same clothes as yours, but her very short hair did not need to be tied up. After a quick moment and a shiny smile at the audience, you both bowed and your lungs took a deep breath.

↘ “Hello! I am Y/N Y/L/N from class 3A and together with Yuki, my friend, I would like to introduce you to a short training of aikido. In this training I will play the role of “tori” and Yuki the role of “uke”. I’ll have to fight back her attacks that will try to throw me off balance. Both of these roles are extremely important and require a lot of effort and focus. After training, feel free to ask us your questions!“

↘ Kise was delighted, although on the other hand he was so surprised that you never told him about your passion for sports. Nevertheless, after a brief while, he focused even more than before, when your two-minute training session began.

↘ The students (and your cute boyfriend) were fascinated with your and your friend’s movements. Your training could be compared to dancing; a bit more dynamic, but as beautiful as classical dance or even ballet. Both of you enjoyed it a lot, and the sound of the clapping at the end of the show confirmed the fact that everything went your way. After a moment, you bowed low to yourself and to the whole audience, and then you and Yuki began to answer the curious questions of everyone in the room (even the teachers!).

↘ After answering a few exhaustive questions, you and your peer left the center of the dance floor and went to the changing room to get your things and drink some fresh water.

↘ A smiling and full of energy blonde boy was waiting for you at the door to the women’s changing room. You quickly returned his smile and hugged him in greeting.

↘ “… Y/N-cchi! I can’t believe you love sports as much as I do! You were so amazing and beautiful during this all…!” Your boyfriend grabbed his own shirt and you giggled. “I hope I will be able to come to your training someday! I mean, there must be such an amazing atmosphere!” He added even more beaming, and you nodded, standing on your toes and giving him a short kiss on the cheek.

↘ “Yes, you can come to my training. I think you will like it.” You admitted timidly, and the High School student smiled even more (if it is possible, lol).

↘ “You are so amazing, baby! Hmm… I really couldn’t take my eyes off you, you know…”

↘ “R-Ryouta…!”

With nothing better to do as you wait for the bud to arrive, you find yourself scrolling through your phone aimlessly. It isn’t until a voice from beside you begins to speak do you look up. “I don’t like the way that guy was staring at you”.

Jumping, you turn to see none other than your school’s prince charming standing next to you. “Usui? What are you doing here?” You question, trying to stop your voice from shaking. You hated how easily flustered you got around him. The last thing you wanted was to give him that satisfaction.

“Waiting for the bus, same as you” Usui explains in his nonchalant tone. That makes you roll your eyes. Why does he have to be such a smartass? A better question was how did he get here without you noticing?! Was he a ninja or something? “But back to what I was saying. Do you know him?”.

Glancing toward Usui was pointing, you cringe ever so slightly at who his finger lands on. The creep stands across the street shamelessly eyeing you up. All of a sudden you feel uncomfortable and almost insecure. Tugging at your clothes, you try to cover yourself up as much as possible.

“No” you reply eventually. “I don’t know him”.

“In that case he won’t know that I’m not your boyfriend”. Before you can ask what he means by that, Usui’s arm slips around your waist so he can pull you close.

The proximity between you two doesn’t fail to make your heart skip a beat. What was he doing?! Acting all possessive out of nowhere? And why did you feel so relieved? Especially when Usui sent your stalker a deadly glare that quickly caused the man to avert his gaze.

“That’s better, you should still hold my hand for a little bit longer for good measure” Usui advises as you try to steady your breathing. “A kiss would really sell it”.

“Ahh! We’re here Yukio-kun!”

He shifts nervously, hand sweaty from a mixture of the heat, his nerves and your hand in his. His lips curl into a frown when you let go of his hand, in favor of placing the bags down on the sand. Oh how he wishes he can hide you from everyone else… But when you pull back to smile up at him, a tiny blush on your own cheeks at his compliment, his heart leaps in his chest. He leans down to kiss your forehead, before gently tugging your hand.

You greeted your boyfriend with a short but cute kiss, then grabbed his big, extremely warm hand as you made your way to the main entrance of the school. On the way to math class, you talked about today’s tests, about basketball and your joint plans for the upcoming weekend. Of course, you were indescribably excited to be able to spend a few nights with Ryouta, especially since you always had lots of ideas for those two days; not only did you enjoy studying together (yes, it’s surprising, but Kise really liked studying with you), but also watching various (including horror, comedies and romances) movies and cooking weird recipes found on TikTok.

Anyway, when the blonde was showing you some lovely pictures on his own phone, you heard loud laughs and your last name. A short second later, several boys complimented you and asked if you changed your hairstyle and perfume today. You sighed tiredly, thanking them and you were about to say something to the yellow-eyed man standing next to you, but one of the teenagers offered you to spend time together at the cinema and coffee after school. Immediately you felt a stronger grip on your hand and as soon as you looked up at your boyfriend’s face you noticed his nervous expression and slowly darkening orbs.

“Ryouta, don’t worry about it.” You smiled as you touched his cheek with your free hand, and the eighteen-year-old nodded in your direction, pressing his face against your soft skin. “… Do you have any other interesting photos?”

“Ah, yes. Look h…”

“… Senpai~ give me your attention!”

“Y/L/N-senpai!”

“May I have lunch with you today, senpai?!”

You pulled your beloved one by the hand, knowing that just a moment longer and you can’t take it mentally because of the boys who really liked you.

Your life from the beginning of high school was… quite hard. You were one of the most charming and at the same time sincere and helpful girls in school; additionally, your grades were high, and you were very eager to take part in science and sports competitions. All the teachers, many female peers, and almost all the boys cherished you to such an extent that every day new, colorful notes appeared in your locker or jacket pocket. It was endearing, but you looked at everything blankly, apologizing to anyone who confessed their sincere feelings to you; after all, you already had the perfect and one-of-a-kind second half who meant more to you than anyone else.

Of course, Kise was no worse and the two of you was by far the most desired couple in the school, however, you were so confident in your future together that no other boy or girl could destroy your ideal relationship.

Nevertheless, jealousy was a natural trigger both for you when Ryouta was given lots of chocolates during Valentine’s Day and for your beloved boyfriend when a group of high school students winked at you or waved their hands at you during lunch, telling you how magnificent you look.

“Ryouta… You know I’m not interested in other boys, don’t be sad.” As soon as you two found in a more secluded place – in chemistry class – you took your man by both slightly pink cheeks again and then smiled at him softly, causing his eyes to shone again with that amused, characteristic glow.

“I’m not sad, Y/Ncchi. I would rather say that I feel pissed off. We’ve been dating for three years and people still don’t understand that I am yours and you are mine… Maybe we should show it better somehow?” He asked calmly, resting his forehead against yours, and you nodded quickly, wrapping your arms around his neck.
