Ok I started watching House to see the hillson hype and while s1 was like meh for me I find it insane that one of the first things they show us is Wilson being like "I'd rather spend Christmas with you than with my WIFE" LIKE OK I GUESS???
Then one of my top 3 hillson moment is when Wilson cut House cane in half and made him fall mid walk. I've never seen a man hornier than House in that moment. Insane then the sync scene. They are married ok we get it.
Wilson fully convinced that House was asking him for a romantic weekend??? Ok.
Then House saying that Cameron is nice to ugly ppl bc she feels bad for being beautiful and adding that that's why she and Wilson get along. This was probably not meant entirely seriously but to be honest you might be right. New (show-only) generation can't even comprehend Luke (PJO)'s duplicity, I don't know how they'd fare with whatever the hell hannigram have going on
Tbh it started as not serious but now im full serious. I still remember how a few months ago they said we shouldn't romantize cannibalism or that cannibalism as a metaphor is fucked up and is like "yeah? That's the whole point?" Another example is that I saw someone say Lolita's themes are uncomfortable and pedophilia is bad and is like THATS THE POINT. They can't comprehend that reading about problematic themes can be enjoyable while you get why they are obviously bad. Sometimes media must make you uncomfortable like, unless it triggers you seriously, sometimes we need to feel uneasy by some realities

I will never forgive marvel for never allowing Peter Parker to grow past his teen phase and making everyone think he is some naive twink (with no offense towards twinks) who is shipped with literal adults (I'm looking at Iron Man and Strange) who are, in mcu canon, his mentor figures. Plus they think mcu Peter is out there sucking Deadpool dick in some horrible yaoi dynamic (I actually like spideypool just pls read the comics I'm begging you) where DP is this huge top and Peter some defenseless bottom. Pls wake up
Rewatching Daredevil s3 to refresh my memory for Born Again and is insane how Fisk just gets close to any person he wants to manipulate and uses the "I actually killed my father when I was 12 with a hammer" to sound RELATABLE and it WORKS. EVERYTIME. EVEN DID IT WITH MAYA. AND WORKED.

AOS. Covering the first year of their 5 year mission, this is totally flawless. The character voices are perfection, the prose spectacular. The whole thing plays like an AOS movie. It’s phenomenal.
TOS. Spock gets drugged on a shore leave and is overwhelmed with its effects. Kirk tries to pick up the pieces. A beautiful, and wonderfully grounded, story of realising how much they mean to each other.
And When the Bond Breaks by LadyRa Words: 24,631
TOS. Spock takes out a shuttle to investigate an anomaly and returns to an Enterprise that’s not his own. Time travel shenanigans with such emotional depth that it will traumatise you in the best way. Stunningly good!

It provides extra scenes, additional dialogue and internal monologues to expand on existing canon in a really compelling and effective way. Truly this is my new TOS canon.

AOS. After Beyond, The crew investigate sudden climate change on a frozen planet and find more than they bargained for. The perfect mix of great plot, fun original characters, action, mystery, world building and deep deep love.

TOS. A really compelling character study of James T. Kirk. An excellent companion piece to City on the Edge of Forever. Exploring what Jim and Spock got up to, and all they had to overcome, while trying to find Bones and their way back home.

SNW. Kirk spends a 6 month rotation on the Enterprise as part of his command training. OK, if there’s a favourite of my favourites then this may be it. It’s such a stunning version of their love story, with a beautifully constructed plot. It runs the emotional gamut from moments that will have you laughing out loud to moments that will have you in floods of tears.
milk and honey by spaceisgay (ChancellorGriffin) Words: 28,651
SNW. Kirk and Spock meet for the first time when they wake up in a prison cell together. A really fun, and extremely clever, version of the ‘aliens made them do it’ trope. It’s intriguing and funny with a real depth of feeling throughout.
The Promised Land by gunstreet Words: 58,260 @gunstreet
TOS. A story that explores the time Jim and Spock spent apart between the end of the 5 year mission and TMP. It’s a beautiful story of reunion and renewal of love. Sometimes achingly sad, but it’s worth it for the happy ending.

What about enemies to lovers that remained enemies regardless. Like "I love you, but what we had before was the core of my existence".
Since I got to the conclusion that TOS Spirk is Spock with an unrequited love, and AOS Spirk is Jim with an unrequited love with the addition that he knows about the deep relationship he could have with Spock thanks to the mind meld in the 1st movie, I've never been the same.
