I think it would be fun for a story to have no respect for it's setting, like putting a monastery circa 1506 on modern Staten island for a character to run to in desperation to try and escape the consequences of his actions
So apparently there is a monastery in Newark so I need to go back to the drawing board for reasons characters would visit Staten island
