yes, someone noticed ! but i totally understand your question, dw. but no, definitely not. i somehow based their backstories off the real characters but that does not mean their own storyline in the show is endgame in the roleplay, that their personalities have to be similar or anything else. you’re creating your own, autonomous character here that simply experiences a similar backstory. anything else is up to you !

i mean, i’m really sorry if you were interested but would like it to be appless, because i’d love to have anyone join & i hate to see an app be the dealbreaker ? making this appless was an option in the beginning, but because i figured that the show wasn’t quite popular, i wanted to promote / ensure diversity among the characters & give applicants something to hold onto by giving skeletons. i don’t think it would be possible with the format i currently have, with skeletons with merely backstories & no personality traits or connections, to make it appless.
so yeah, i personally just thought it would be the best choice to make it semi appless. also because i was afraid of the rp … dying too quickly after making it appless ? i’ve been a lot of appless rps die quickly that i’ve been in, and with a plot heavy rp, that isn’t ideal. but yeah, i’m sorry if the choice isn’t your preference !
