Seriously, I struggled with this series because I had heard so much good about the Grishaverse and I wanted to like it but the first two books didn't do much for me.

But this third one DOES. It so does.

FINISHED! I had such good intentions when I sketched his portrait… then I had a baby… and now it’s been over a YEAR since I did that sketch.

2018 was an extremely slow year for me art-wise, so I also wanted to thank all of my followers who have stuck around (or started following) in the past 12 months. I’ve recently finished up some commissions and I’m finally digging back into some personal art and fan art that have been on hold for MONTHS (in some cases over a year).

I still love Harry Potter. Yes, JK Rowling has said stupid things, there are inconsistencies in the world, they lack diversity, the spin offs are meh. But I think that we need to remember what made us love this series in the first place. Narratively they are complex and fairly clever and the characters are flawed and interesting. They revolutionised fiction and defined my childhood and teen years. I love Harry Potter and I always will. The bits you don’t like are what fanfic/headcannon are for.
