im super annoyed on lins behalf about that handwriting thing not just because dont make fun of that? and dont make fun of people sharing raw drafts of things because that takes a lot of bravery, especially if you’re kind of a perfectionist like lin is? but also because all the people replying to his ‘i deleted it’ tweet like ‘IM SORRY I WAS JUST JOKING I DIDNT MEAN IT’ hey guess what if someone doesnt know you personally theyre not gonna know whether your teasing tweet is a jokey insult or just a real insult, and if they’re well-known they’re probably gonna get a TON of the same jokey insult like if one of my friends said ‘wow you suck at writing’ i’d know they were kidding and laugh about it but if 50 strangers said it to me i’d probably cry even if i was pretty sure they were kidding and even if i knew their opinion didnt matter because thats 50 people who think their joke is more important than my feelings
