derek had pulled up to ryan’s place of work a few minutes ago. paper sack of food in one hand and his large shake in the other, amber hues meeting every gaze he could manage as he made his way to find the femme. usually there was a permanent flattened stature to his lip whenever he came in, but somewhere between the pay off on a business decision and ryan’s comment the blond had begun grinning all-too-maliciously. a reminder to his girlfriend’s coworkers. dressed in a suit as opposed to his usual outfit, his grin easily loosened at the sight of her. “ big bad wolf reportin’ for duty. “ he mocks her big bad boyfriend comment before holding up the bag. “ peace offerin’? paul and i may have gotten a little mess on the kitchen floor. “ taking a slurp of his shake and shrugging, letting his head cock to one side with the brief motion. “ this means you can redecorate the place. “ maybe the mess wasn’t so l i t t l e but the payouts on all of it would be worth all the redecoration being done.
“why am i not surprised” ryan giggles as she sees derek shuffle over to her. “you and paul. why am i not fucking surprised?” she repeats. “please tell me what this mess was” she inquires taking the paper bag from him. she plants a small kiss on his cheek. “i mean redecorating is great but i didn’t find anything wrong with the way i had it” she giggles taking out her food and putting it on the desk. “i see daddy got dressed up today” she winks.

this was the last thing that preston thought he’d be doing today. he’d packed up all of his girlfriend’s belongings, which was several boxes, bags and one suitcase filled to capacity. he refused to meet anyone to give back herself. if this was truly the end it would be an in person meeting. he pulled up to her driveway. “paige!” he screamed knowing she’d be able to hear him. he knocked on her door “you wanted it to be over so now it’s done.” he rolled his eyes as he ran back to the car to get more of her boxes.
