Facts
Can something good happen? PLEASE? I’m so sick of all the bad. I need a break, but being a caretaker to my boyfriend who is post foot surgery (pre-quarantine), and two dogs and myself, doesn’t allow for a break. A break I really need after the news of last week. My 97 year old grandmother broke her arm in three places then the hospital neglected or forgot to tel my parents that they transferred her to a rehab facility. So she was lost for a good 12 hours. All this while my mom’s been dealing with health issues that she “didn’t have time” to go get checked out because all her time goes to caring for HER mom. Well long story short she just got her results back, tumors (cancerous) on both her liver and pancreas. NOT good news or prognosis. I am not coping well with this news not being able to go and see her and even give her a hug. I haven’t even been able to muster up the courage to call her yet as I know full well I will break down and make things worse for her because she will feel like she has to comfort me. I don’t know what’s next for her, but it’s making me crazy I can’t do anything to help or even be near her at this time. This virus and the orange asshole who did nothing to prepare for it can go fuck themselves

I miss her. She was my post-divorce xmas gift 13 years ago. Even though she was born in October I always think of her as a christmas baby. First cristmas without her. 😔
