Hey guys it’s mod karkles....... I’ve decided to leave kin against. I don’t involve myself in discourse anymore because it’s just too triggering and too traumatic for me to. Long story short, me, my brother, and both my parents got into an argument that turned violent. My dad attacked my brother and when I pushed him away he fell and hit his head. Now my mom wants me and my brother to move out. My brother has a much better chance than I do at finding a place to live. He and his girlfriend are well over 21 years old and both have stable jobs. I'm neither of those things.
I'm 19 and the job I work won't let me get anymore hours. I've been trying for months to find a better one but no one has even looked twice at me. And I don't have the money or means for my own place to stay-- even with roommates. I need help.

Yes you can like something while not liking the creator but you have to realize that people are allowed to be upset and angry about bigotry! Expessually when it's already really difficult for bisexual people and poc to get the support they need to be able to fight this bigotry!
As a bisexual poc I feel... actually less safe around people like you. Who instead of listening to mine and my brothers and sisters voices, would much rather just scream at us.

hi im jayd, and id really like to not starve. my job cut my hours recently and im living paycheck to paycheck rn, on top of having some health issues that really need treatment (mainly my bad knees oof)
heres the information i put in the graphic jic some of you cant see images:
so im opening up icon commissions! for $5 ill edit a homestuck panel to your headcanons/kin tl and put a background (a pride flag, aspect, something like that) on it. for $6 ill edit a homestuck sprite and add hand drawn space into a body part of your choice (i.e. wings, horns, eyes, hair). the example isnt the greatest since i didnt draw that space (its an older edit) i will be painting the space for you. for $7 you fan send me a screenshot, ill crop it to an icon size, make it transparent, clean it up manually, and put a background (pride flag probably) on it. for $10 ill draw you an icon that i sketch, line, and color. if you want an extra character in there itll cost an extra dollar.
i will draw: animals (furries are cool too), original characters and cartoon characters (provide references please!)
i wont draw: mechas/complicated robots (we can figure something out if its for the $7 icon, hal strider doesnt count for this), NSFW of any kind.

i know theres been tons of discourse over the lesbian flag this month. so ive collaberated with some lesbians, specifically @lalondessisters and @demoniclesbos to make a new one. unlike the original and widely used flag, the stripes mean something. and it wasnt made by a racist!
this is by no means final, but its one were happy with. of course if anyone has suggestions were taking them!
pink is femme allignment, purple is butch allignment, the second stripe in is for life/love, the gray is for ace since gray is a color in the ace flag and it fits with the color scheme (this was actually @gay-dave-strider’s idea, as we were stumped on what color to use for ace lesbians), and white is for trans/nb/he/him lesbians, and it was chosen similarly to the gray stripes, its used on the trans flag.
like i said, suggestions are very welcome!

hi! i saw the icon for your blog, and was wondering why you use the yellow striped aro flag? of course if you're aromantic yourself, then you're free to go with the yellow stripe. but the reason the aro community got rid of it, is because many of our members have sensory issues with that color, making it inaccessible to them
I cant speak for the other mods, but I, personally, prefer the yellow stripe since the white stripe actually gives me sensory issues so when my icon on my main blog is the aro flag I use the yellow stripe for personal reasons. ~Shay
