I remember thinking, ‘Why am I here?" I’m here to do acting, but I can’t even do the auditions. I’d hear stories about people who landed big Hollywood roles because their uncle knew a famous producer or whatever, and I definitely got super resentful. I couldn’t have kept going if I didn’t have such an insane love for acting. I knew it was worth fighting for.
