Lionel Messi & Sergio Aguero

“We act like a couple” - Sergio Aguero

“I don’t dream about being like Messi because he dreams of being like me!” - Sergio Aguero.

I love you a lot and being by your side makes me really happy”- Sergio Aguero

Can he make you laugh?

He can. He went through a phase, several. But when he was younger, he was a character. He could make you laugh all the time about anything at all.”- Lionel Messi

we all know messi is the biggest culé in the world, no one loves barça as much as he does. and that’s why i feel so heartbroken for him, the way he feels guilty and thinks he’s a problem to what happens at the club, because he’s mostly the one covering the holes the board made. or at least that’s what the board kinda forced him to do, because he loves barça so much and can’t let that happen, you know? it’s shameless how this whole situation benefitted the board again, with messi ended up not leaving and he’s being framed as a drama queen who made a saga against the club when it’s actually the board vs the club and messi himself. or him, being framed as ungrateful player who doesn’t love the club. some people even really think he purposefully made this drama to cover the 8-2 loss. seriously?

i always thought messi’s decision to leave was more of a sacrifice than an escapade, he loves barcelona as a club and city so much it’s practically their home for his family too. it’s the club of his life. i felt that he wanted to stay, but chose not to because of the board’s incompetence and that they won’t change as long as there’s messi doing all the work the board’s supposed to do. that conflicted feeling must be heavy for him to decide anything. it’s just… so sad. and i hate the board for making the whole situation crush him like this.

as i said, if our board is competent, has long-term project that focuses as barcelona as a club we could have managed messi comfortably retiring here and having the squad rebuilding too. but our board takes him for granted and uses him as a shortcut, it’s not the first occurrence - we all thought xavi and iniesta were to retire here but they knew this board has no clear project and singlehandedly rely on them.

with all that happened, i acknowledge that sometimes i thought he is not exactly a captain material, and that’s really dumb of me to doubt that. i know some of us (or maybe just me) always expected messi to speak up, do something because he has the power to do so, and thought barto would leave once the dirt’s out but nothing goes as what we want/deserve. but he’s done it. obviously we’re all disappointed that barto is still here shamelessly despite all the effort messi and us fans made for him to leave. but i am proud of messi for what he’s done and how he’s stood up for us, for the club and the fans, regardless of the result.

barto really is that cunt. the least you can do for a player that has defined your club for over a decade is let him leave in whatever manner he wants. i hope in the opening game of the season leo shoots a ball up his ass
